Oh April you just got here & now you’re already gone? 🤒 Might be because I spent most of it sick in bed but it reminded me to prioritise my time, energy & tasks better to stay sustainable 🐈⬛ Can’t not post this video of Margie getting her fave cuddles in (& I have to correct myself: my boyfriend is also able to do this, which still makes only two) ☕️ I’m a forever #starbuckslover this liquid gold just brings instant joy, especially when chatting about all sorts of things life & biz with my bestest 💻 Absolutely ROCKED this collab masterclass with @loseyourweightforgood about mastering habit formation! (Even though we did it twice back to back😂) 🏋🏼♀️ After the break and rest we got straight back into the gym! That’s discipline turned discipline turned joy 🔥 🛁 But we also made sure to look after the body & the soul, learning to manage my energy has been a game-changer in my productivity AND added much more quality back into my life 🌷 This quality also included time with dear friends, sipping coffee together & catching the rare sunrays next to blooming parks in the city I love so dearly ❤️🔥 Can’t forget all the client incredible client sessions this month! I remember my first conversation with Ronnie (who has now left as Chairman of Banbury United). I told him I wanted to learn what he knows about running a football club. I think I should’ve kept my mouth shut! 😁 Helping this club is a lot of work. We are hiring a new chairman, new manager, needing a new ground because of problems with a waterlogged pitch, improving sponsorship, creating a new structure for the women’s team ..... the list goes on. As you can imagine, imposter syndrome starts to set in and you start to question your ability. Am I good enough? Do I know enough? What am I doing here? Have you ever had those thoughts? If you have, I want to encourage you and tell you that God will never put you in a place and space you don’t belong in. You’re there for a reason and it might take some time to understand what that reason is, but you have to trust the process. If there are things you need to learn, learn them. (My ADHD brain right now ‘unique New York, unique New York’ 🤣 IYKYK.) Back to my point. You don’t just need to stand out. You need to stand apart. 🔥 Here’s what I mean by that… One of the new 1:1’s I started working with found my account a couple of months ago by happenstance. She’s never worked with me, never attended any live event, or anything of that sort. She reached out via DMs to hire me because the way in which I show up here on this platform. She mentioned to me on our first call that there are a lot of business coaches out there to choose from but some of them were way too much in the feminine or their energy just didn’t resonate with her. She wanted someone grounded, honest, someone who understands the work that goes into building & scaling a business and someone that works with the energetic component and is also backed by strategy. One of the reasons why she decided to work with me & dove in right away (no objections) was because she loved the process of HOW I work with my clients and she was drawn to my energy, authenticity, my story, & what I stand for. I’m sharing to tell YOU 👀 who is reading this right now... that I guarantee you there are people who would jump to work with you right NOW if you communicated (as clearly as possible!) your specific process it’s what makes you stand out) & the outcomes you know you can deliver on. Dont be afraid to share your story, your heroine’s journey, & show up unapologetically… be YOU in the fullest expression. Your energy is what captivates people and that can be felt in your writing, in your videos and how you are showing up. À partir de 1875, elle poursuit ses études en Allemagne et en France. À Munich, elle a été formée à la tradition académique, à la nature morte, aux études de figures et aux dessins et reproductions de peintures européennes renommées. Comme les femmes n’étaient pas admises dans la plupart des académies à l’époque, elle reçut des cours particuliers auprès du peintre norvégien Eilif Peterssen . 🌟 🎨 A Paris, elle se rapproche d'un réalisme plus académique. Elle suit les cours de Gustave Courtois et étudie les dessins d'après nature dans l'atelier de Madame Trélat de Vigny. Une augmentation des portraits est perceptible à partir de cette période. Cela inclut son autoportrait à petite échelle I Atelieret [Dans l'atelier, 1883] où elle se représente en train de peindre un retable dans son atelier parisien privé. 👩🎨 Elle a été la première femme artiste en Norvège à recevoir une commande officielle pour une œuvre religieuse, ce retable (1883) était une commande prestigieuse pour une église norvégienne de Gjøvik. It started as a text and turned into a business partnership that only divine intervention could have created 💖 December 2022, I had been hosting @comebrunchwithbabes events for 4 months. @lesliejespersen2.0 saw what I was doing and decided to follow the call and throw a "crazy" idea out there. She had been hosting events in #NewJersey for a couple of years, but she had the same vision as me. What if we could take this thing national?? What if we could completely change the way women networked?? What if we could bring healing mainstream?? What if we could leave the women feeling empowered after masterminding?? The alignment was unreal. But, we already knew that. We had been in each other's worlds for a couple of years after having been in a mastermind together and knowing that there were so many parts of our journeys that were similar. Which is why the "crazy" idea wasn't so crazy to me. It was already the vision I had for #brunchwithbabes so instead of just starting her own chapter I said "what if you join me as a partner and we take this thing national together" We both fully believe that when you lock arms with someone else, the possibilities are endless. Don’t you just wish… ❤️ You had more time to figure out what “all the things” are that you actually want to do. ❤️ You could stop playing catch up or that whole day wouldn’t go to sh*t when that one thing doesn’t go to plan. ❤️ You weren’t distracted all the time, could be more focused and feel like you’re getting all the things done for once. ❤️ You had support to lean on rather than everyone leaning on you. ❤️ You could create better boundaries, learn how to say “no” and actually MEAN it. What works for her may or may not work for you. Everyone has a specific “secret” method they swear by - be it for getting your baby to burp, to sleep through the night, or to hit that next level in your business that has been feeling juuuuust out of reach. Client services is simple: treat your clients the way you like to be treated. It’s simple, but people still don’t thrive in that area, no matter the business. Client services have been my number one priority in both businesses. I will say focus on your brand, but this is part of your brand experience and how people feel doing business with YOU. This part will determine if people will refer you and how they talk about you. This part right here will determine if you have to do a refund or if things don’t go as planned, you still find a way to keep a good relationship with the client, or you just made a new enemy. Some suppliers could learn a lot from me when it comes to business and how they treat their clients, but that’s for another conversation. I have also seen things in the coaching industry that I promise I will never do. Well it doesn’t get any more spectacular than the Colosseum! It’s the largest ancient amphitheatre ever built, and is still the largest standing amphitheatre in the world, despite its age. When something is built well, and on a solid foundation, it will stand the test of time. Just like most of us, the Colosseum is constantly being put through a reconstruction and restoration process. This process is not easy and it takes time - but it’s worth it in the end. So as I sit here sipping my espresso and enjoying this iconic view, just remember, Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither were you.
