This was our first time staying at the All Star Movies Resort. We had a preferred room on the 1st floor in building 4–right next to the pool! The location was really nice for walking but a little noisy until quiet hours. We loved the 101 Dalmatians theming and the pool was huge! Favorite features of our room were the Murphy bed and the under-the-bed storage. It was the perfect room for two of us. We never waited more than 15 minutes for a bus. It took about 18 minutes on average to get to Magic Kingdom, which was furthest away. The buses did tend to be crowded on our trips back in the evenings. Our first trip (of many we will be taking) to Walt Disney World, we stayed at the Art of Animation Resort! I will say it was absolutely fantastic! It met all of our expectations and then some! Convenience, Affordability, Customer Service, Food, Transportation especially the beauty of the resort in general! It made me go through the emotions. We stayed in the Little Mermaid suite! It was perfect for us, our son still sleeps in bed with us, so the king bed made it comfortable for us to sleep, and we had the perfect amount of room. Now the set up of the room was also gorgeous! All the different lighting fixtures was perfect to, so when I woke up before everyone I could turn on a light and it wouldn’t bother them while they were still sleeping! The food was decently priced! Or wasn’t outrageous! Very affordable for those who didn’t use the dining plan like us! And might I add the food was very delicious! And the resort mug made for quick and easy refills before we left for the parks, when we got back for breaks, when we left for the evening, and when we got back in the evening! Transportation was EXCELLENT! We used the Skyliner more times than we needed to, just to ride on and get a nice break in! We loved using it the days we went to Epcot and Hollywood Studios! We enjoyed using the buses for the other parks and Disney springs, but later in the evening they definitely jam packed them and made it slightly uncomfortable! Also… is it just me or do some of those drivers not need a license? 😂 But nevertheless, the buses were great because it puts your right at the entrance, so it not a hassle for you getting in, which is a MUST! Early entry, we didn’t use this sadly, little man isn’t used to waking up super early, and we didn’t want to push our luck! BUT make note of it we will be definitely using this next year (more than likely). We didn’t expect to go into it paying an arm and a leg. But we went into it expecting to pay more than we did! The cheaper room and resorts are VERY affordable, and the packages make it to where you can stay and go without having to pay those crazy prices! WHICH WE LOVE!
