To anyone who has ever lost a close friend, "the process" is unique us all. And, even as I struggle with the recent passing of my former Sous Chef, close friend, and brother, Hiram Kemp, I look to honour him with this event. On July 13 imma be doing a pop-up soup kitchen to feed as many less fortunate people as possible. If you've been a supporter of mine for some time then you know that Hiram and I started doing these some time back. Both organisations do incredibly important work within the local communities. Hands for Hunger focuses on the elimination of unnecessary hunger and the reduction of food waste; while IDEA Relief is a marine disaster response and preparation organisation. We are extremely proud to support these two great groups and look forward to more partnerships in the future!
