There really was a bath at Bishop Auckland Town Hall (aka BATH) 😁. Whilst looking for other elusive information, I came upon this booklet from my 2009/10 A level project on Public Art and there it is. The temporary installation by Maddi Nicholson was there 1996. I thought it had been a play on BATH but the blurb doesn’t indicate that. One thing about me: I love going to @booksamillion, wandering through the aisles, and taking in the sight and scent of being amongst countless books—it’s like being in one giant book, and it’s incredibly calming. I know I’m not the only one who feels that way! Today, I had no intentions of buying anything, but I stumbled upon the one and only hardback signed copy of “Bride” by @alihazelwood. I found this fellow on my lemon tree. A quick google revealed that this caterpillar will turn onto a orchard or citrus swallowtail butterfly (last two photos). I learnt that if you poke them two things happen. 1) two little red antennas pop out and 2) they stink! What a happy find on my lemon tree. Its been a while since I’ve been to Antwerp and we decided to do a day trip there on a random weekday. We initially had booking in another restaurant but got surprised it was closed when we got there. So we walked around and chanced upon Blueness. They have amazing service, food and drinks. I specially loved the Yuzu slush and their take on gyoza (we actually ordered another serving of this) and husband loved the make your own sushi with Hamachi (he also ordered this twice). Portions are small so it allows you to taste more from the menu. Thank you Blueness for being so accommodating to us on a rather full night. It allowed us to taste a lot on your lovely menu. But this was just beautiful 😍 Tim Walker is a British fashion photographer that frequently works with Vogue and I swear I’ve seen his work before this and vogue it must of been. This body of work here that was at the Getty was a successful touring museum piece. And I’m so glad I got a glimpse of this! So sorry if you missed out. It was on display May 2-August 20, 2023. I am so happy to have finally found a bottle of Montblanc - Homage to Vincent Van Gogh - turquoise in Harrods, London. 😭 It’s not your usual bright turquoise blues, but it is a muted blue-y grey turquoise.
