📖: "Przebudzenie" - Stephen King Wydawnictwo: @proszynski_wydawnictwo ~ ~ Ocena ⭐️: 6/10 ~~~~~~~~~~~ Recenzja: Przez pierwsze sto stron książka rozwija się dosyć wolno ukazując większość życia głównego bohatera i wprowadzając w lekturę. Nie powiem, mimo że ta część się mocno dłuży przyjemnie mi się to czytało. Pojawia się sporo przeskoków w czasie i sama fabuła dzieje się na przełomie naprawdę wielu lat. Przez cały czas czytania czekałem na wyjaśnienie fabuły i tutaj przychodzi rozczarowanie, bo pomimo długiego wprowadzenia punkt kulminacyjny jest krótki i no nie robi takiego "wow" jak można, by się spodziewać. Трудар-мільйонер дивом вижив у страшній аварії, але залишився калікою з понівеченою психікою. Едгар самотньо мешкає у великому домі на острові Дума в Мексиканській затоці біля узбережжя Флориди. Захоплення малюванням проявляє в ньому паранормальні здібності. Через його феноменальні картини в реальність починає втручатися незбагненна безжальна сила... Коли я побачила, що дії книги будуть відбуватись на яскравому пляжі, а не в штаті Мен, було неочікувано. Заспокійливий шум прибою, мурмотіння мушель, барвисті заходи сонця, попивання прохолодного зеленого чаю на пляжі вселяли максимальний комфорт. Також надзвичайно сподобались описи і сцени мистецтва - як з кожною сторінкою розвивався талант головного героя. Беручи в руки пензель / олівець, він губився на години поспіль, його поглинала енергія, залишаючи потім його ненажерливим, навіть божевільним. Думаю, що Кінг тут намагався підкреслити, що насправді великими митцями рухає жахливий досвід, який розкриває їх для небезпечних і магічних сил, які, покращуючи якість їх творіння, можуть також і загрожувати поглинути їх з головою. Але єдиним мінусом для мене була затянутість. Думаю, що книгу можна було б скоротити вдвічі. Ми знаємо що буде щось паранормальне, нам дають ці крихти і ми очікуємо-очікуємо і очікуємо. І серед цього очікування сторінки наповнені довгими діалогами, іноді непотрібними сценами і прокрадається відчуття, що так нічого і не станеться. Мені подобалися герої і сюжет, але мені потрібно було щось, що викликало б мурахи. Напевне це не була б книга Кінга, якби в книзі не було надлишку сторінок😅 В даній книзі можна спостерігати відголоски з минулих книг Кінга, типу «Мертва зона», де через травму головного мозку, з'являються дивні здібності, привиди в ізольованій місцевості, типу «Сяйво» та ще фрагменти з інших робіт. Quando nossa mente enxerga riqueza em tudo, criamos o hábito de tirar leite de pedra, ou ver a flor que nasceu no meio do lixo. T. Harv Eker, o autor, foi muito feliz ao empregar os mesmos ensinamentos que encontramos nas obras de Napoleon Hill e Joseph Murphy, não à-toa o livro continua sendo muito vendido atualmente. 4 - O romance de Milan Kundera explora valores impostos pela sociedade e a dicotomia entre o peso e a leveza que sentimos de acordo com nossa individualidade frente ao que nos é ditado. O diferencial da obra é (nos termos do teatro) a quebra da quarta parede, quando o narrador dialoga diretamente com o leitor sobre como foi inventar toda história de Tereza, Tomaz Sabina e Franz. 5 - E por último outro romance, dessa vez de Nicholas Sparks, onde um jovem problemático acaba se apaixonando pela filha do pastor, a menina mais certinha da cidade. Five books to get to know me 😊 My reading taste is fairly broad I would say. As a child fantasy was my everything, but since then my reading taste has developed, now also including more scifi, horror, and translated fiction. These five books I would probably list as my favourites or at least representative of my favourite genres: 1) The Hobbit - my dad first read this to me when I was super young, which sparked my love of fantasy and Tolkien ❤️ 2) The Hiding Place - this is an incredible true story about Corrie ten Boom and her family, who risked everything to help shelter some Jews during WW2. I read this when I was pretty young and it's stayed in my memory all this time. 3) Cloud Atlas - love this book so much! I'm currently rereading it for the 20th anniversary 😊 4) The Shining - this was my first horror and my first Stephen King (and still my favourite i would say!). Definitely sparked my enjoyment of reading horror books. 5) London's Falling - I just really loved this book the first time I read it, and now enjoying rereading occasionally. Who doesn't love a story of crime and magic? 6) Death's End - I first picked up Three Body Problem a few years ago and was blown away. I've never read a scifi series quite like it, and I'm still reeling from the end of Death's End. {Trouvailles} Je me suis rendue de bon matin à la vente exceptionnelle de livres dans mon Emmaeus, où j'ai pu compléter plusieurs de mes collections, et faire de jolies trouvailles !! Malheureusement, l'ambiance qui se dégage de ce genre d'événements me laisse perplexe... Des personnes qui courent dès l'ouverture des portes, qui bousculent, qui prennent des piles de livres pour ensuite aller sur internet pour voir à quel prix ils pourront les revendre... Et qui jettent des regards agressifs si on a le malheur d'un peu trop s'approcher... Je n'en revenais pas... Acheter un livre à Emmaeus est un acte militant, et ces personnes qui souhaitent "s'enrichir" ou faire un quelconque profit suite à leur achat, me laisse sans voix... Et enfin, la personne qui voit que vous attendez sagement derrière elle pour regarder dans un bac, et qui vous dit que ce n'est pas prêt d'être votre tour parce qu'il en a pour un moment.... Ce genre de comportement ne devrait plus me surprendre, et pourtant je ne peut me résoudre à accepter cela. I'm always weary of books that start off with an HP Lovecraft quote and this was no exception. Lovecraftian horror is not my vibe. I just don't find it scary... at all. So unfortunately this was a miss for me. Was looking forward to being scared and all the reviews indicated that this is in fact one of Stephen King's scarier offerings. The story itself was interesting and well written as always. It just wasn't the best reading experience because I kept anticipating fear where there was none. But I still have 20 unread King books on my bookshelves so I will find what I'm looking for. "Nachtschicht" fand ich einfach klasse! 20 schaurige Kurzgeschichten, die absolut grandios waren...mal abgesehen von "Der Rasenmähermann", denn die war mir irgendwie ZU schräg 😆 So richtig tief beeindruckt war ich von King's Vorwort, in der er sich zum Thema "Ängste" auslässt und eine erfrischend aufschlussreiche Sichtweise aufzeigt. J'avais tant aimé le film, ses personnages si attachants et son histoire si bouleversante, que je craignais que le livre ne soit pas aussi prenant. Quelle erreur ! Dès les premières pages, j'ai été happée par l'histoire. Le temps s'est arrêté lors de ma lecture. J'étais juste là, au Bloc E, aux côtés de Paul Edgecombe, à y découvrir les pensées intimes des personnages, leurs doutes et leurs tourments. Même en connaissant l'histoire je n'ai pu m'empêcher de stresser, de m'énerver et de pleurer. Pour les amateurs du film, le livre est une œuvre tout aussi magistrale. Stephen King - Cujo Mám veľmi rada Kinga a aj, keď si ho nedávam často, o to viac si ho vychutnávam. Inak to nebolo ani pri kultovom horore Cujo. Nevidela som film a aj napriek tomu, že knihu autor napísal už v roku 1981 prečítala som si ju až teraz v novom slovenskom preklade Ivany Krekáňovej. Priznám sa keďže mám doma troch psíkov, ťažko som zvládala prerod priateľského bernardína na krvilačnú beštiu priahnucu po krvi. Stačilo na to jedno kusnutie netopiera nakazeného besnotou. A tak sa stane z verného kamaráta, ktorého snom je splniť každé prianie svojmu majiteľovi monštrum, ktoré sa mávnutím ruky stane postrachom a nočnou morou obyvateľov mestečka Castle Rock v Maine. Ústrednou postavou je samozrejme Cujo, rodina Camberova, ktorým bernardín patril nepatrila medzi ukážkovú rodinu. Joe majiteľ autoservisu radšej ako svojej rodine venoval čas alkoholu. Jeho manželka Charity s ním veru nemala na ružiach ustlané. Násilie bolo na bežnom poriadku. Druhou rodinou, ktorá zohráva v románe dôležitú úlohu tiež nepatrí medzi ukážkové. Donna Trentonová je svojmu mužovi neverná, syn Tad trpí nočnými morami. A práve Donna so synom Tadom uviaznu v pokazenom aute a nablízku nie je nik, kto by im pomohol... Cujo je román, ktorý je odlišný od tých, ktoré som od autora doteraz prečítala. Prvé čo ma po prečítaní napadlo bolo to, že dej sa v podstane aj mohol reálne stať. Z toho ma mrazilo asi najviac. Nenájdete tu žiadne strašidlá, prízraky či duchov, nájdete tu dokonalo spracované postavy, ktoré pôsobia až mrazivo reálne. Veľmi sa mi páčilo sledovať myšlienkové pochody hlavne Cuja ako sám nechápal čo sa s ním vlastne deje. Dosť ma to zasiahlo. Samozrejme veľká dávka napätia, strachu a emocií čakala aj pri sledovaní zúfalého boja matky o svoje dieťa. Výborné kingovské napätie, ktoré pokojne odporúčam aj pre tých, ktorí ešte s autorom nemajú žiadne skúsenosti. Lecz powiem wam że nie sądziłem że mnie ta powieść aż tak wciągnie jak pisałem wcześniej powieść nie jest długa taka na jeden wieczór, i też nie jest to horror , jest to dla mnie powieść obyczajowa fantasy . Historia bardzo dobrze przedstawiona miasteczko opisane , bohaterowie i co najważniejsze nie ma nudy i akcja idzie na przód . Książka moim zdaniem jest również o dorastaniu i brania na siebie odpowiedzialności za siebie , w przypadku Gwendy opieka nad tajemniczym pudełkiem , które może powodować zniszczenie ale i również spełnić marzenia. Po krótce poznajemy tutaj dwunastoletnia Gwendy Peterson pewnego dnia zmierzające na plac zabaw do Gwendy pewien messczyzna siedzący na ławce powiedział Hej dziewczyno musimy pogadać przedstawia się jako pan Farris przekonuje bohaterkę aby wziela od niego w prezencie Pudełko z guzikami i tłumaczy użytkowanie , mówi że obserwował Gwendy i wybrał właśnie ja żeby była włascielka pudełka . Przez lata Gwendy ma Pudełko dzięki nie mu są wzloty i upadki przekonajcie się jakie przygody będą czekać bohaterkę i jakich wyborów będzie musiała dokonać i kim jest Tajemniczy mężczyzna w czarnym kapeluszu ? W sumie spotkanie trochę przypadkowa, znaczy chciałam przeczytać jakąś książkę King’a, ale nie wiedziałam od czego zacząć, trafiła mi się faza na grube książki a na półce z nowościami stała o to ta książka więc stwierdziłam – co ma to stracenia. Jak już wspomniałam było to spotkanie naprawdę udane, pierwsza część książki niesamowicie mnie wciągnęła, czytałam bez odrywania się od niej. Bohater - bardzo go polubiłam co znaczenie ułatwiło czytanie, bo chciałam wiedzieć co się z nim stanie. Ale przychodzi druga część książki i jest ona, dla mnie, mniej angażująca niż pierwsza, pękła dla mnie pewna bańka i straciłam zainteresowanie tym co się może wydarzyć. Tak samo zakończenie było dla mnie zbyt chaotyczne w porównaniu do pierwszej części książki. This weeks Fright Night Friday movie is the 1996 Stephen King film “Thinner”! Directed by Tom Holland, “Thinner” starred Robert John Burke and Joe Mantegna. The film had a budget of 8MIL and made over 15 MIL and is based on a popular novel by Stephen King. After a freak accident that killed an elderly Romanian woman named Suzanne Lempke, Billy Halleck used his “connections” to get off Scott free until Suzanne’s father Tadzu lempke placed a gypsy curse on Billy touching his cheek and saying the word “thinner.” GYPSY JUSTICE was served. No matter how much Billly ate, he still lost weight. Billy began getting thinner and thinner until he called his friend Richie Ginelli to help him out and attack the gypsy camp with the curse of the “white man from town.” Tadzu decided to call a truce because he didn’t want Billy harming his granddaughter and took the curse off by sticking a knife through Billy’s hand and putting it in a pie. Whoever ate the pie would die real quick. Billy served the pie to his cheating wife, but his daughter accidentally had some. After finding this out, Billy ate the pie himself and served some to the doctor who was bangin’ his wife. Movie concludes… For some strange reason I enjoyed this movie very much. It flows well and is only an hour and half. The story may be a little outlandish but the acting is believable.
