Mannnn I deserve a fantastic weight loss result when I weigh myself on Saturday. I turned down a free KFC and knocked this up for myself for dinner instead. I’m only 5 days in and it would have sent me off the rails! I’ve done two twenty min cardio workouts on YouTube with Beat fit today. I’m trying to stay away from weights at the mo which I enjoy so much more but I know myself and I’ll neglect the cardio when I start them and at the mo it’s all about trying to jiggle around as much as I can to get the gut down. I love chicken cordon blue but the chicken to ham to cheese ratio isn’t where it’s at. There’s too much chicken breast and never enough ham or cheese. This one is a lazy cheat. Costco rotisserie chicken layered with ham and a fontina/cream cheese blend. Kale from the garden chopped so fine no one can pick it out… I don’t cook it with the topping. It’s really just corn cereal mixed with seasoning and olive oil and put on at the very last minute. It’s so crispy and cheesy and delicious.
Chicken inasal is my go-to if I want a hearty meal but I just can’t be bothered to spend hours in the kitchen. It’s all about low effort and high rewards with this dish. The trickiest part?
