I had a few Bolder Buddies ask about Pixie Flyer and Limey. It does not match. Sherry and I tried to match it with all the greens and nothing looked right. I ended up ordering a white Criss Cross Flutter with limey shorts and piping. The piping is far enough way to look good. I am kind of fearful of white skirts, so I hunted through a couple of my favorite fabric shops and found two that might match. I ordered both and will see what looks best. The patterned would be good to wear to the parks. I would be afraid to sit down in a white skirt. White would be good for my walks. C’mon get happy swing tall for my ortho appointment. Who is a freak of nature? ME! I have accessory navicular syndrome along with posterior tibial tendonitis. Surgery was suggested 😬😵💫 I am not ready for that. So another round of steroids since the last one made me so sick that I could not handle it one day. No boot, but should wear a little brace or my little compression sock. Someone asked me a while ago, why I pay to have my scraps back. Well, one I have used some for crafts and two I may decide months or years later to send it back and have a shirt made. This fabric was sitting in my scrap bin and I decided that I wanted a shirt. Normally I wear a Brooks tank that is black with the run happy bananas on it with this skirt. Today, I want to share my experience of ordering custom raglan tops. I love having the option to choose from different styles, but most of the time, I prefer the tank version. However, for our Santa tops, Miss V decided to try the short sleeve while I chose the ¾ sleeve. One of the options available is the hem length, which you can choose based on your preference. It is measured from the armpit to the hem. If you take a look at a few of our tops, you'll notice that some were made with two different swim materials for the collar and sleeves. Miss V and I love having mesh for the body of the shirt, and there are multiple colors to choose from. For the Monsters tank, I requested that Mike & Sully be prominently featured on the front of the sleeves, and I love the way it turned out. The collar is made from a coordinating fabric from my flutter skirt. The next thing I would like to talk about individual custom skirts are prints, including border prints. With the custom option, one person, Leah, lays out the fabric, finds the best part of the design, and ensures that it is prominently displayed on the skirt. For example, on my Lorax skirt, I requested the Thneed factory and Lorax on the front. For this Minion Flutter, I asked to have Gru & the Girls on the front, and both came out perfectly. For my Hogwarts Castle skirt, the castle was the main feature, and the pockets with Harry's glasses were a close second. Although this skirt is gorgeous, I will not publicly name the fabric shop and cannot recommend it. The Wizarding World skirt and capris did not require any specific requests as I loved every inch of the print. I especially enjoyed having the Quidditch pitch on the front. I was a Quidditch runner in HRC/PHRC, and the pockets are fantastic. Miss V loved her capris, and the buildings were in perfect alignment. Embarking on Dopey No. 3 doesn’t come without its challenges. In 2018, I injured my ankle so badly that I literally had to give up my Galloway pacing spot in a May race because the MD said I had 6 different injuries. I wrote them out on a paper. For my first Dopey, the majority of my training was WALKING. I know I pace for Galloway and at the Disney races now, but you know how somethings just really stick with you? The second I had no injuries and completed my training, crossed the finish line strong and upright. I even had my hubby by my side for his first @rundisney Marathon. Training will begin soon. It’s a long 6 months of long runs at 3 am to beat the FL heat. Chafing that dwarf dream! There will be good runs, there will be bad runs and there will be immense joy to cross the finish line.
