The Phenomenal Power of Breath. You might know I’ve been leading a breathwork group since Oct 2020, initially inspired to support men with their immune systems, within Metal International (a superb men’s group of which I’ve been a member for a decade.) Oxygen is our #1 cell fuel, also great for mental and emotional well-being. 🤩 It has turned into something far greater than I imagined. 🫁 Breathwork, including @iceman_hof Hof and holotropic breathwork, as per psychonaut, Stanislav Grof, enables us to access altered states of consciousness. Maybe a psychedelic experience. As well as the many physiological benefits. A year ago, one of our “breathing brothers”, David Sonnenschein, started automatic writing. Words started to come through him that were not his own - as per Neale Donald Walsche. It is quite the gift for David - and for us. Every day, he has something for us that he channels. He is a conduit for a message - for the collective group, sometimes for an individual in the group. What came through him was about breath. Felt inspired to share here with his permission. “Extra elements for simulating original purpose of life and lust. Take a reality check on the first offer to land in full squat. Plain talk and no more flagging of the breath, turning it into an exercise of endurance. No need for strain, the flow of circumstance allows the faithful message to transmit clearly.  Mainly find the purpose of elongating the breath and sustaining its volume over time, a radical equation of solemn worth. It was time to start a new life, one I only tested but never fully lived. One I hungered for, but those demons under the bed kept me snug inside my quilt telling me I was free to go any time I wished. Each time I started out and turned the engine on, it became clear those demons, known as fears, wanted to go for a ride. They would eventually turn the car around and tuck me safely in my bed, as they nestled underneath the bed frame, excited that they had a small adventure, and brought me back home, safely nestled within the world I already know. They peeked and saw the windows were locked, and safety was the name of the game. Little did they know, the Hippie Ghost Band drummed their way through the closet picked up their conduit, and went on stage to play.

Don’t ask for permission, the time to center yourself is essential and will become the standard for the performance of your spirit. MOUNTAIN 3 Give yourself a treat every day. Live in harmony between what you have to do and what makes you happy. Responsibilities are part of life but remember to always leave a window open for the sun to come in. Begin by creating the habit of living in balance and with time you won’t be able to live any other way. It’s healthy and fair to reward yourself for the duty of each day.

What can I change to improve by 1%? This was a question from a mentor on our community who suggested we start each week asking ourselves this. 1% change each week is small. It’s achievable & doesn’t feel drastic. What could it be? Anything that supports you! It could be reading about a subject currently important to you, committing to doing squats while you do your teeth, breathing deeply into your heart whilst waiting for the kettle to boil. (This is a really good one at any time to be honest - especially now - the more we come from our hearts, the more we impact the collective positively). All of these are simple, small steps. Easy peasy. And yet, across the week or month, those small steps will compound and “all of a sudden” you’ll be more knowledgeable/stronger/calmer. This week I am committing to journalling or doing automatic writing for 5 mins each day. It’s a practice i committed to in 2020 and found it very supportive. It’s been a sporadic practice for a while. Now it’s time for me to connect back in on a daily basis through writing. Why? Because often I write down ideas / receive downloads and, no matter what I write, it brings me to a place of calm What will you choose to be the small step you take to make a change? You can divide consciousness into various colors like red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. You can infinitely expand to perceive all colors, as if in a high-dimensional state. You can simultaneously know the past, present, future, multiple different spacetimes, and different versions of yourself. Yet, you can also focus your attention on experiencing a particular color, focusing on a specific dimension or aspect of consciousness. It's akin to how the material world is an experience that narrows consciousness to only focus on the present moment. But regardless of what color state you are in, you are always the light itself among these colors.
