What's a book you know isn't good... but you love it anyway? 🥰 We all have read books that maybe aren't that well written... don't have good characters... have silly plots... but for some reason, we love them anyway! Now, I'm not saying that all the books in this photo aren't good... but I can recognize that on some level, intellectually, that maybe Fifty Shades of Grey isn't a literary classic. But I still enjoyed the heck out of it when I read it. 😅 Sometimes, a book gets you through a tough time... speaks to you on a personal level... or just brings you joy. How much humor do you like in your books? Do you like humor as the foundation? Like Christopher Moore does with his books "Bite Me" and "You Suck"? Do you like characters that are are funny? Like Alexia and Lord Akeldama in "Blameless"... Gail Carriger's steampunk romp. Or maybe it's the setting that's funny... like the fictional towns in Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse books or Jacqueline Carey's Agent of Hel series. Roscoe and I like books that are well rounded, which means humor is preferably included. We love supernatural stories with a humorous edge. It makes for a really fun reading experience.
