🌟 Leiderschap & Luisteren 🌟 Tijdens mijn 25 jaar als leidinggevende, vooral in mijn laatste 8 jaar als interim-manager, heb ik geleerd dat ‘moeilijke’ teamleden vaak niet zo moeilijk zijn als ze lijken. Voor een van mijn laatste projecten werd ik gewaarschuwd voor twee ‘rotte appels’. Ik herinnerde me mijn oma’s wijze woorden aan mijn moeder: “Als de meiden lastig zijn, begin dan bij jezelf.” Dus besloot ik niet naar de vooraf gegeven informatie te luisteren maar mijn eigen oordeel te vormen. Deze heren bleken geen lastpakken, maar gepassioneerde ambassadeurs voor het team. Hun inzet tijdens de moeilijke COVID-periode hielp het bedrijf groeien en zelfs een award winnen! 💼🏆 Het bleek maar weer: luisteren en begrijpen is cruciaal. Finally got to bust out the HONEYBEE SHIRT 🐝 Had a great showing at 2024 Champions Cup! It was a wild adventure! I experienced probably the longest day of disc golf I've ever had. I was stoked to have the opportunity to play on lead card at a major and be in the mix all week! I stayed in a good headspace for 65 out of 72 holes. Round 3 what held me back from a better finish. A few inches here and there would have made a 16 stroke difference that day. Nevertheless, I brought it back on the final day! After struggling with the putter for the last couple rounds, I hit back to back C2 putts on the last two holes of the tournament to finish with two birdies and finish in 6th place! So incredibly proud and happy for my man @prez017 What an unbelievable performance those last three rounds! So cool watching him take down his first major title!!! Congrats bro! The Saint Charles Open Recap. . This was my first A-Tier of the season and it did not disappoint. Great staff, amenities, and course maintenance. Huge shoutout to all the staff doe putting this together! . Sadly, after leading the tournament after round 2 I laid an egg round 3. I shot one of my worst rounds i can remember. It's disappointing knowing that the final course really suited my game. Lots of big open throws mixed with tight woods usually plays in my favor. However I missed many of my tee shots by mere fractions. This lead me to barely clip trees and shoot hundreds of feet into jail. Additionally, I was incredibly nervy on the putting green. Idk why a 15 footer felt like C2 with death behind, but for some reason I couldn't get the disc in the basket. . I take full ownership of my poor performance round 3. Everyone was playing in the same conditions as me. However, I do wish I could have practiced the courses prior to the tournament. Playing each of them blind perhaps lowered my potential ability to score better. Who knows... . In the end I finished T5, got to play 3 days if golf, hang out with some incredible people who caddied for me including my dad round three, and see a ton of my extended family in the STL area.
