Alien Pizza Planet is a great option to get a meal when visiting Disneyland. There are some options kids will love as well as parents. And there are is lots of seating. If you’re in Tomorrowland and needing some food, you should definitely check out these options. 1. Countdown Chicken Fusilli - this is probably my favorite thing to get at Alien Pizza Planet. It’s so tasty and big enough that you could share if you wanted. 2. You can grab a slice of pepperoni, cheese or sometimes they have a seasonal slice. 3. If you are looking for a healthier option, not sure Caesar salad fits that bill, but this is a decent salad. 4. Kids meal. This is a great value with a individual size cheese pizza, carrots and cutie and a drink. 5. Alien Macarooon. It’s no secret that I’m a macaron fan. And blackberry and lemon is a great combo. 6. Now I added this slide because I love chewy ice. And this is one of the places you can find it. I love the soda selection and that you can refill your water bottles here. And the ice is 👌🏻. Yes I chaperoned the junior high band trip to disneyland. Yes it was my birthday weekend. Yes I had the best time! But it was because I was able to spend quality time with my son at my happy place. Carnation Café is a great place to spend an afternoon. Eating delicious food, and listening to the hustle and bustle of Main Street. It is one of the restaurants in Disneyland that does recommend getting reservations beforehand. Sometimes you will luck out and be able to join the walk up list during you visit. Or you can check in with them when they open, to see if they have any availability. Dining reservations, open up 60 days in advance. So if you are planning to visit the park, 60 days before your park visit start checking for reservations. Often times you can find some thing open within 24 hours of your visit. As others cancel their reservations. You can also sign up to be alerted when reservations open up. Using the dining alert service @mouse.dining . They offer both a free account or a paid account. And when you get those carnation café reservations, these are the items that you should order! They are all so delicious and you should totally try them. The newly opened @earlofsandwich in Downtown Disney offers a grilled cheese and tomato soup on their menu. The tomato soup comes with croutons, which I really enjoyed. And the bread of the grilled cheese is super soft and delicious. This is such a cool view when you are having lunch! ✨ We had lunch at Maria and Enzo’s at Disney Springs last weekend. The restaurant is themed like a airline terminal in the 1930’s. The night before our run, we kept with the retro theme and ate at the Prime Time Cafe which was perfect for some home style hearty but naughty carbs! I treated myself to Grandma’s chicken pot pie and Sophia opted for the infamous Aunt Liz’s golden fried chicken!! Desserts were fab and recommend their Lemon Meringue and Grasshopper Bar shown. We also enjoyed the decadent peanut butter and jelly milkshake..a snickers lover dream! Surprisingly you don’t find many milkshake options in the parks so this was a huge thumbs up! Mickeys Bee Bop drink comes in a themed souvenir cup with glowing ice cubes as a cute keepsake. Perry our server was great fun..we asked for an extra fork and every time a waiter went past, we got another and another….theming is brilliant, fun lively atmosphere, decent menu and very reasonable priced for a Disney restaurant. We felt like we were on the set of Back to the Future with all the 50s vibes. Mickey hand pies. Part 2 of 2 Only 2 ingredients needed. To make these you will need: *Ready made pie crusts *Your favorite pie filling Preheat oven to 450°. Roll out your pie crust. Grab your cookie cutter and cut out your pie crusts. Place your piecrust onto a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper. add pie filling to the middle of pie crust. Cover with a second piecrust. Use a fork to crimp the edges. Bake in oven for 12 minutes. Let us know if you make these! We’d love to see your finished pies. #disneyfoodnfun #disneyyum #disneyathome

Headed to Oogie Boogie Bash this year? I had someone just ask me my top tips for attending the bash, and here is what I shared: 1. Make sure you take advantage of the extra couple hours before the party starts. They will let you in 3 hours before the party starts with your party ticket. 2. Use that time to do rides and eat some food. We got hungry around 9:30 and it was hard to find food. 3. They give you a bag for trick or treating. But it’s tiny. Bring a bigger bag. You will get lots of stuff. 4. Decide which of the activities are most important to your group. There’s so much to do you can’t get it all in. 5. If you can, watch the second showing of the parade. ✨The Disney Fab 50 Quest is currently underway at Walt Disney World & with the new MagicBand+, you too can join in on the fun! To help celebrate The World’s Most Magical Celebrstion, 50 golden statues were constructed in all 4 theme parks at the start of the celebration. 📱Using the Play Disney app & MagicBand+, guests can search across the theme parks to help Tinker Bell spread pixie dust for the 50th anniversary in an interactive scavenger hunt! To begin, guests must download the Play Disney app & follow the instructions on their smartphone screen. There are a total of 36 golden statues to be found: 🔅 Magic Kingdom - 19 🔅 Disney’s Animal Kingdom - 4 🔅 Disney’s Hollywood Studios - 7 🔅 Epcot - 6 When a guest gets close to a statue, their MagicBand+ will start to vibrate, indicating an unfound statue is nearby. Happy National Dole Whip day! If I were in the park today celebrating, I’d go for a pineapple raspberry swirl from the tropical hideaway. It is my favorite dole whip at Disneyland. I just wish we could mobile order it. But I also really like the snow capped lemon from Adorable snowman frosted treats in DCA. The classic dole whip from the tiki bar is always a great option. It’s best to mobile order so you can grab it on your way out of the park. And the Pixar parfait from adorable snowman needs a mention. It’s pretty tasty too. But it’ll freeze your brain! And I kind of love it. 🤷🏻♀️ I pack lotsss of snacks and activities, and stop to sleep at a hotel on the way down . We make it as far as we can before grumpiness sets in on day one- Which gives us lots of time for pools or a great dinner reservation on arrival day!
