Hey plant people! I am doing a massive repotting/soil exchange for my plants this weekend. I am struggling with my succulents… I over water… I know this… getting better soil for them, and organizing them on different shelves to have some shelves that don’t get watered as much…. And so on. I need some advice on my heart leaf philodendron. It is huge, and at the moment it is spread out all over my ceiling and everywhere. Here’s my question, to repot or not to repot? 🪴 it has been in the same pot for a very long time. It was at my grandparents house, then at my mom’s, and now at mine all in the same pot. I know it’s time, but it isn’t showing signs that it needs it. So I am asking for some advice. Should I, or am I avoiding it because it’s gonna be a pain in the butt and possibly break many pieces? ✨Bluey‘s Big Play✨ Ihr Lieben, wie verbringt ihr Silvester? 🥰 Ich habe den Tag heute mit einem ausgiebigen Frühstück bei @utterwaffle in Brixton gestartet und hab mir danach „Bluey‘s Big Play“, ein interaktives Theaterstück zu einer meiner liebsten Serien @officialblueytv ❤️❤️❤️, im South Bank Centre angesehen. Damit habe ich ein weiteres Urlaubshighlight gesammelt, das mir einmal mehr bewiesen hat, dass man nicht ein bestimmtes Alter haben muss, um für ein wenig Zauber im Leben zu sorgen. Nein, ich habe heute einfach mal auf mein inneres Kind gehört und diesem etwas Gutes getan, was ich so schnell nicht vergessen werde. Back in my early 20’s, when I was single, had no kids, worked 1 million hours a week, and had a great metabolism, I was a sous chef in the heart of Boston at the TD Garden. It was truly a dream job, I got to watch every Celtics and Bruins game, as well as every concert that came through. I cooked for celebrities, athletes, master chefs, and VIP guests and while all of that was amazing, the best part was what I got to do before and after work! In 2010, my goal was to try 100 new restaurants. If you have been here awhile, you may remember this time or even was one of the people I would make go out to eat with me. I am such a foodie at heart and truly appreciate the love that goes into creating every single dish. I not only reached my goal that year, I exceeded it by 20 restaurants. I averaged 10 new restaurants a month and it was truly just such a fun and inspiring time in my life. Now that I have kids, a husband, responsibilities, and a metabolism that hates me, 120 new restaurants in a year may be a bit much, but I do want to start this fun tradition again, with something a bit more manageable. In 2024, I am committing to trying 24 new restaurants, or at least 2 per month. If I do more, great, but at least 24. I need and thirst for that inspiration and truly just love to spend time with the people I love over a good meal. #slowsunday #homemade #veggiesoup #doingthingsthatmakemehappy . . . several people (@erikn63) have asked about my veggie soup recipe, which is more of a process than a recipe. . - cut up seasonal vegetables. think about limited flavor combinations rather than anything and everything. - after short initial med heat to get the veggies cooking, cook veggies (and any pepper or chili flakes or other spices you want) very low and slow in decent amount of olive oil (that covers base of soup pot) for around 45-60mins with the lid on. - then the vegetables will have changed and be covered in liquid that has just come out of them. - if you want a smoother soup, at this state bash with potato masher or even blend some or all of the soup-in-making. - then add stock or just water and bring to boil. - then add some sort of dried (or canned) bean or pulse. I'm really enjoying puy green lentils, which will need to be on low simmer for approx 30 mins - then add some (again think limited choices) stay-raw-and-fresh things, such as huge handfuls of parsley or finely chopped spinach and/or edamame/soy beans. - so good! yummy. filling. freezes well for lunches.

Have been searching everywhere for the perfect scented candles and gladly, I finally found these lovelies from @pienco.co It's my first purchase but I have to say I am already obsessed with the scents that I got specially the "Ichigo" (strawberry) variant.
