Did you know our Pineapple Fluff was inspired by Disneylandโs Dole Whip Donut? We jumped on the opportunity to do our own version almost immediately after hearing their announcement a few years back. The timing of their release was right we when started collaborating with @toasted.mallow. The homemade marshmallow fluff from Toasted Mallow is amazing and we use it on various donuts throughout the year. Unfortunately weโve not had a chance to try Disneylandโs version, so we donโt know what it taste like. Weโre not even sure if theyโre still even making them??? Iโm not the biggest fan of fruit filled donuts either so I was also skeptical. But Iโm excited to say I throughly enjoyed this donut. The marshmallow topping combined with the pineapple frosting and pineapple jelly filling makes it taste almost identical to the actual dole whip.
