Marking Dominique Gallois 30th wine vintage with the 2019s! 📷: @domainegallois The 4th generation winemaker was the first in his family in 1989 to bottle and market their own estate wine, based on a respectful approach combining sustainability and quality. The 2019 is thus his 30th vintage, one that was relatively easy to handle with clean fruit and modest yields - less than the 2018s but more than the 2020s. Dominique Gallois may be soft spoken, but lets his grapes do all the talking. Critics laud his sleek, refined flavours with textural balance and discreet application of oak. No fertilisers have been used on his estate, which depends on manual work through to harvest. In the cellar, fermentation depends on local and natural yeast. Grapes are picked at optimal timings, resulting in the natural elegance that you find in the wine. We can’t get enough of Gallois’ wines and are pleased to offer the limited 2019 vintage at www.wineculture.com.sg

We are pleased to announce a new Gevrey-Chambertin producer to work with - Dominique Gallois of Domaine Gallois, which was established in 1989 when Dominique took over the small 4 hectares of family vineyards comprised of around half hectare of Bourgogne rouge (located in Fixin); 11 parcels of Gevrey-Chambertin villages totalling 2.2 hectares and a single grand cru of Charmes-Chambertin.
