Com o passar dos anos, o Universo Cinematográfico da Marvel foi se expandindo e muito se fala do esgotamento da fórmula. Talvez o que falte é uma mão menos pesada dos produtores, pois fica clara a intervenção e a consequente destruição de potencial sugerido. . Em Marvels acompanhamos a reunião involuntária de três grandes heroínas do cenário: Capita Marvel, Kamila Khan e Mônica Rambeau. Tudo ocorre após um evento eletromagnético unir as heroínas que passam a trocar de lugar toda vez que usam os poderes. . Mas como apenas ficar trocando de lugar não renderia um filme, o passado de Carol Danvers aparece para assombrar o universo quando a nova líder dos Krees começa a invadir planetas em busca de recursos para recuperar o próprio planeta destruído após as ações de Danvers. . Uma fantasia espacial com tom bem humorado que desenvolve cada uma das personagens já apresentadas em obras anteriores, e aproveita recursos estéticos e coadjuvantes que em outros tempos seriam completamente descartados. Assim como um bom ritmo, que é favorecido pelo tamanho da obra que não se alonga como usualment acontece. . Infelizmente fica clara a intervenção que retira elementos que deveriam estar em tela e acabam enfraquecendo a história, tornando-a vazia e genérica. Poderia, por exemplo, ganhar alguns minutos para mostrar as consequências para alguns planetas que se envolveram na trama e ao mesmo tempo que ganharam uma boa e interessante apresentação, foram abandonados. . Um dos maiores trunfos está no elenco bem integrado, com atrizes e personagens cativantes e capazes de enfrentar uma ameaça de nível cósmico sem parecer forçado. Mesmo a vilã, ainda que mais unidimensional, ganha espaço para mostrar motivações bastante aceitáveis. . Sem cair na comédia, o tom mais leve permitiu algumas resoluções sem causar estranhamento, o que não isenta a falta de conclusões em um ou outro momento, deixando buracos na trama que seriam facilmente fechados. . "The Marvels" - 2023 - Disney Plus - Captain Marvel adora salvar planetas y hacer lo que quiere pero sobre todo, adora estar sola. Esto se le complica cuando debido a un nuevo objeto que una enemiga suya ha encontrado y controla, la vida de Captain Marvel se ve indivisiblemente alineada con otras dos súper heroínas. Esto es un cacao grande. Hay magia, poderes, villanos que no lo son tanto, héroes que deben cantar para comunicarse, fans que se convierten en súper héroes como nunca antes lo habían imaginado. The Marvels – power swapping, global disasters, alien technology is how I would describe this 4.25 Rodney Star movie that will be coming to Disney+ very soon. We meet up with Captain Marvel 30 years after the first Captain Marvel movie as she patrols the galaxy. Light years away we meet up with Monica Rambeau checking out Earth's jump point after an anomaly affects not just this one jump point but the entire network. After some investigation and mishaps, they are joined by star struck Kamala Khan and that’s when the fun and adventure begins. So let me start by saying that if you haven’t seen Wanda Vision or MS Marvel or even Secret Invasion, you will be lost. At least lost in the Marvel cinematic sense. That being said, I actually liked this movie. I know it didn’t do too well in the theaters and not everyone is a fan of Brie Larson, and I honestly can’t understand why? It seems like all the hate, and yes its actual hate, is coming from men. Granted it is the majority of viewers and fans, but I have to wonder something: is it because the character is a female and she’s a lead character and not some fumbling woman screaming for her big strong man to save her? Because as we all well know she can definitely hold her own, especially against Thanos. Although, I feel he did sucker punch her in “End Game.” But I digress. Now, am I saying it’s the best Marvel movie out there, no. But It was better than some movies I have seen. There’s a few questions I have that just don’t make sense to me. But without giving anything away I can’t really bring them up. Suffice it to say, the issues I have to do with what The bad guy is trying to do. Higher. Further. Faster. Together. The Marvels Movie (2023) premieres in theaters Friday November 10. Carol Danvers (Captain America) gets her powers entangled with those of Kamala Khan (Ms Marvel) and Monica Rambeau (Photon), forcing them to work together to save the universe. Carol had taken revenge against the Supreme Intelligence all on her own, she likes it better that way. Now she must work with Kamala and Monica whether she wants to or not! This movie has so much action. Women kicking a$$ and taking names. Amazing special effects. I loved learning more about each character and seeing them finally coming together. The Marvels was an entertaining MCU entry that gets back to telling its own story and not just being another cog in the ever moving franchise. Nia DaCosta gives this world a unique flare that was visually vibrant and has some fun moments. @brielarson and @teyonahparris are great, but Iman Vellani is the MVP. Her giddy positivity is infectious and made me appreciate the Mrs. Marvel series a little more. When all three actresses are together, the film really pops. While the antagonist wasn't amazing (but it's not like this is the first MCU film to have that problem), she's still sinister and drives the plot. Coming in at 105 minutes, the film never drags. If you're looking for something fun to watch this weekend, check it out. Review: "The Marvels." “What You Seek Is Seeking You.” The words inscribed on the bangle worn by Kamala Khan (superhero name: Ms. Marvel) is a lovely phrase, with interpretations literal and metaphorical. The script from director Nia DaCosta ("Candyman;" "Little Woods") and first-time feature writers Megan McDonnell ("WandaVision") and Elissa Karasik ("Loki") leans into the metaphorical, positing that what we aspire to find will come looking for us. However, and more interestingly, it may arrive like the proverbial monkey’s paw, giving you exactly what you wish for but with consequences that may give you pause. It’s here, in the latest in a 30+ run of films from Marvel Studios, "The Marvels," that a film rife with joyful expression of heroism, also turns its eye to what happens the day after the battle is won and all the days after, leading to a sense of bitterness and loneliness. Hace 2 semanas finalizó ‘Loki’ (2021), el último estreno en cuanto a series del Universo Marvel. Ya iba siendo hora que Loki, uno de los personajes más carismáticos de Marvel, tuviera más protagonismo. A todos nos alegra tenerlo de vuelta después de su fatal desenlace en ‘Infinity War’. ¿De qué trata? En los acontecimientos de ‘Vengadores: Endgame’, Loki roba el teseracto y huye del cruel destino al que está predestinado, pero rápidamente es apresado por la AVT, una organización que se encarga de corregir las anomalías temporales. Aprovechando sus capacidades, a Loki se le da la opción de viajar por el tiempo para ayudar a la AVT a atrapar a un enemigo que amenaza a dicha organización y al universo entero. ‘Loki’ es una serie de viajes en el tiempo, donde la ciencia ficción y la fantasía relucen en todo su esplendor. Una historia divertida, con sorpresas, con nuevos personajes entrañables y una trama bien trazada de principio a fin. Pero lo más sorprendente (y, a mi modo de ver, lo mejor) es su carga dramática, saber quién se esconde tras la máscara narcisista de Loki, conocer en profundidad al personaje: sus inseguridades, miedos, inquietudes, motivaciones, etc. Quizá no es el Loki al que estamos acostumbrados, ya que la fuerza de la historia arrastra al personaje a una serie de sucesos imprevisibles y que dejan poca cabida a su lado más villano. Loki was easily was least anticipated marvel series. I just simply wasn’t excited for this show. It didn’t really seem like something that would interest me. Well I was incredibly wrong as Loki was fantastic. Loki is the best Marvel Disney + series to date as it beats out the previous two series Wandavision and Falcon and The Winter Soldier. So what makes Loki better than these other two series. It’s as simple as it’s ending. In my opinion Falcon and The Winter Soldier was good throughout and had an okay ending. Wandavision was terrific and then stumbled at the final episode. Loki also had a terrific first 5 episodes but unlike it’s predecessors it stuck the landing and gave us and ending we can latch on to and think about. Loki is an absolute amazing suprise and I’m happy to say not only does it have an intriguing story, lovable characters, and a solid villain, but it also shows of some terrific performances especially that of Tom Hiddlestone, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Owen Wilson. Loki also features some excellent cinematography by Autumn Durald Arkapaw and an epic score by Natalie Holt.
