One of my favorite post rock albums of all time- up there with the big boys (Mogwai, Explosions In the Sky, Mono, etc.). It’s just brilliant- well written, well executed, well recorded. Special thanks to Molly and Erin for the warm welcome and accommodations!! This- from their website— says it best! “For over 600 years, people, plants, and animals have gathered under the Five Oaks. This grove of five Oregon white oak trees stands tall in what is now Hillsboro, and was called Chatakuin (Place of the Heavy Stone Mortars) by the Tualatin Kalapuya. While there are other ancient white oak trees in the Tualatin Valley, only the Five Oaks are known to carry such a long story of human interaction. If these trees could speak, they would tell stories of how they thrived with Indigenous land stewardship. They would recall the changes caused by colonial settlement, agriculture, and urban growth. The oaks would applaud generations of caretaking efforts. They would remind us that we, the people who live here, are also part of nature. @metal_moleman and @lovelothsartgazebo are a dynamic duo. One that, until now, operated from the shadows and created many eldritchian sights and creations in its ever-growing shade. There is a saying warning of the dangers of staring at madness. However, when you're well versed in the ways of disorder, fireworks are guaranteed. And so it is my great pleasure to showcase our first collaborative work and to my knowledge, the first Croatio-Saudi Arabian partnership. Behold "From Sea To Sky"! A journey through mysterious aquatic depths and towards the seemingly infinite skies. @metal_moleman sets a dangerously submerged precedent with his expertise in all things ferrous, carbonated and hydrated before yours truly takes over and sets your sights towards the great beyond. Shuffling encites the wrath of the elements and given the unimaginable powers of these two realms, caution is not well advised, it's implied. Pair this with acts such as @sulphur_aeon_official, @ahabdoom, @giant_squid_squalus_music, @theoceancollective, @rosetta_band, @humbandofficial, @kayodotofficial and @afterbirthnydm for good measure and you got yourself a killer voyage to partake in. Thusly, all you need to do is surrender thineself to the path and enjoy the three hours of haar currents we conjured. We had a blast and we think you will too!

This is simply the radiation of what man really is, not what he pretends to be." - William George Jordan Completed. The week, the healing of an illness, my IF THESE TREES COULD TALK discography! After a week filled with mondays i feel like there is no better way to celebrate the end of it with one of my favourite bands. ITTCT is one of those bands, that reminds me of how small our little postrock bubble is. In the scene their are giants, and this first release shows exactly why, even though nobody outside our genre seems to know them (which should be a crime!). Besides that, they are the perfect embodiment of the Longing i feel much to often. I don't know the morals and/or political views of the musicians, but when I put their music on, i feel connected to something i can't put my finger on. After this EP they developed a sound that is (at least for me) the pinnacle of postrock production, with a drum sound that is unmatched. Favourite track: the friscilating dusklight PS: ITTCT will play ONE festival outside the US this year: Portals in London. I sadly can't afford the traffel, but i highly recommend it if you're in the area! I walked through a neighborhood that had glorious trees. It also had placards of the history of the homes and the families that own the homes, and how they’ve been passed on through generations since the early 1800s. Alongside this ironclad display of generational wealth, I want to read the stories of the slaves who built these homes, kept them clean, gardened the yards with no pay and no dignity given to them. I want to read their stories. I want to see placards with their names and their contributions right alongside the people who have capitalized on their generational wealth. Wealth that’s fortified by laws made by lawmakers who want to protect their own generational wealth, while making it extremely difficult for generations of black families to own a home. I took a picture of this tree’s roots, a tree that’s absorbed the sweat, blood, urine, tears, semen, and water that has been spilled upon this soil and moistened its roots. Powiem Wam, że warto się na tej płycie zatrzymać bo petardowa jest niebywale. Uwielbiam post-rockowe granie. Jest w nim element nieodkrytego. Wciągające nieprzewidywalne aranże i klimat zmieniający się jak pogoda w Szkocji. Zamknij oczy, weź głęboki oddech i puść „From Roots To Needles”. Nie znajdziesz pośpiechu, natłoku myśli czy niepotrzebnego niepokoju. Zapowiada się ultra ciekawa przygoda w środku tygodnia. Dryfujesz beztrosko powyżej ziemi, poniżej nieba. Tak trzeba żyć, ciśnie się na usta. Nawet mocniejsze riffy „What’s In The Ground Belongs To You” nie zmuszą Cię do lądowania. „Terra incognita” czyli nieznany ląd. Świat należy do Ciebie, sky is the limit. Za każdym razem gdy sięgam po tą płytę wiem, że czeka mnie dobry czas. Możesz za sobą zostawić wszystko, przenieść się w inny wymiar świadomości. Grup "Senin Sınırlarının Yenilmez Gücünü Gördüm" adlı teklisini bugün yayınladı. Bence çok keyifli bir olmuş, çıkacak albümü de sabırsızlıkla bekliyoruz. Ellerine sağlık şimdiden. İkinci teklimiz ise, gönlümüzde "From Roots to Needles" gibi bir şaheserle taht kuran Of These Trees Could Talk grubundan geliyor. Grup yakın zamanda "Trail Of Whispering Giants" adlı işlerini yayınladılar. Davul tonlarını özlemişim vallahi. Bu da gayet keyifli bir çalışma olmuş. Albüm yolda sanırım (bilgi edinirsem eklerim). Üçüncü albümümüz ise Goodbye Meteor grubundan. Grubun "We Could Have Been Radiant" albümü şu anda dinleyicilerine sunulmuş durumda. Bu da çok keyifli bir iş olmuş efenim, kendisini dinlettiriyor gayet. Enerji yükseltir, bizden söylemesi. Son teklimiz ise daha yeni sayılabilecek bir gruptan, Brume grubundan geliyor. Grup 6 Şubat tarihinde "Jimmy" adlı yeni teklisini yayınladı. Biraz daha duygusal tarafta olduğu için ilk üç çalışmadan ayrışıyor. Ama ona rağmen gayet güzel bir çalışma. Vokal çok sevmesem de vokalistin sesini gayet sevdim, dinletiyor kendini.
