So, the pelvic pain I’ve been feeling since January….ya, it was my #psoas muscles. Damn. Those really hurt when you’re not adding strength work and stretching. Lesson learned….again. Over one month of strength work (2-3x a week) and stretching (4x a week)….so helpful. As a runner, I know I can neglect these very important parts of my workout….because I love to run, I’m making extra efforts to get this work in. Tonight, I ran 1.36 miles to my YMCA, did a 45 min strength workout, then 1.36 miles back. Then stretched for another 30 minutes. Had no idea what to expect and was nervous as all hell. However, I got to meet some talented and awesome sound designers from that journey. It’s inspiring to watch how they’ve grown and become so successful. I find it serendipitous to see this today, as I get ready to travel up north for @avfilmofficial and support To Die Alone, the 2nd feature film I’ve been privileged to score music for.
