It’s been a BIG week (and it’s only Tuesday 😆) . My car is sold, our house is leased (thanks @utherandsunproperty ) and I just finished up my job of 15 years! (Bye @flightcentreau )🥳 Being a Travel Consultant certainly had its highs and lows - it’s by no means an easy profession. Volcanoes, strikes, protests, flu outbreaks, plane crashes, snow storms, typhoons - it’s all in a days work really. Plus, being taken to places all over the world and meeting people from all different walks of life certainly makes it interesting. . It’s also being a part of people’s lives, that you may never have met otherwise. I have seen my clients exchange their backpacks for suitcases, get professions and have families. I’ve been a part of elopements and honeymoons, of first time adventures and last time journeys. I watched people overcome their fear of solo travel, seen them experience life long dreams and shared laughs and milestones. . I have also met and worked with people who will now be life long friends. .
