Does your pup have a unique bestie? 🌸 Whilst I talk about dog and human connection a lot, when allowed, the connection between canine and feline is something truly remarkable. Admittedly Celia adores nothing else than to play with her humans, however watching her lovingly sweet side come out when around Ivy, her feline sister, would have you assume they were actual siblings. During their photoshoot, she would regularly poke her snoot into Ivy’s bag ensuring her sister was safe. Capturing this, whilst both securely on a lead, they both happily sat and duly obliged upon hearing a squeak. Shortly after, Celia’s love of play came out as she bounded around us with the love for life that all dogs have in abundance. It can only be Dennis 🤍 Dalmatians seem to have the ability to float with such a grace that has a similar appearance to that of a horse riding dressage. As petite as a mouse, with the spirit of a lion. 🤍 Daphne really doesn’t need any introduction, she still however deserves one. Whilst I had met this precious girl prior to her photoshoot, spending a morning in her company reminded me just how precious she really is. I adored the interactions she had with her lady human, the refusal to take a step and insist on being carried, their sweet and funny ongoing conversations truly made my heart smile. Daphne’s wonderfully ginormous ears also had a unique way to draw smiles from passers-by too. At the time of the shoot, she had a bandaged paw. I had the pleasure of collaborating with Chiara (@favarettichiara), talented dancer and pilates teacher, several years ago. When she reached out expressing her interest in joining my "Cats and their Humans" project, I was thrilled at the idea of working together again. In 2021, Chiara adopted two cats, a male and a female, from a neighbour. She named them Pani and Puri, inspired by the Indian dish that she and her husband particularly love. Both cats are adorable. Despite their different personalities - Puri, the sweet tabby, is more outgoing, while Pani is a bit shy - they welcomed me into their house with trust and showed me how exciting it can be to play with soap bubbles and jump to catch a cat teaser. From being found in a cardboard box to living like a princess in Prague 🤍 Every rescue story always provokes two emotions, sadness and overwhelming love. Biska, the sweet little one was found in Croatia along with her sisters inside a box, in a river. As with so many thousands of rescues out there, despite such a horrible start she still goes about her days bringing love and joy to her humans lives. Every so often, we encounter a moment that stops us in our tracks and urges us to appreciate the present. Meeting Yuki, in the middle of Prague’s Charles Bridge was one of those moments. Do you fall in love with every dog you meet? Whenever I meet anyone, I’m smitten. Whether saying hello to a pup walking by or greeting your wonderful models. I cannot help but fall head over heels, sharing stories about them with loved ones and friends. There are no exceptions ❤️ Meet Rafa, Rodger, Andy, and proud Dog Dad Malcolm. As you could expect from a trio of poodles, two-thirds of them radiated a gentle grace and calm, the other was a bouncy, licky, fear of missing out cutie. I am always touched by the relationships I am so lucky to capture, this was one of warmth, love and laughter. Rafa, wanting to give hugs at every opportunity. Rodger, the ever steady wise one, offering unconditional love and then Andy, playful, bouncy and the puppy that gets away with it all because he can 🤍 Not to forget Malcolm, savouring every single moment shared with his boys. I adored these guys’ photoshoot from start to finish. Not just the vague optimism from Dog Dad at how well they’d behave, but the joy they brought to passers-by. The first session in the new studio was with this adorable never-ending-energy cotton ball Coco 🤍 Coco’s family and I had a wonderful time together in my new studio. What is it in your own pup you adore the most? Was it his burnt orange eyes or delicately dainty paws, seemingly floating through Mayfair with such effortless grace, that won my heart? I’ve been lucky to photograph 71 beautiful rescue cats at @catsprotectionnorthlondon this year (swipe to see them all!) 🐈‍⬛ I volunteer once a month to take photos of cats, from tiny kittens to senior cats, who are looking for homes. An impromptu stop in China Town resulted in one of my favourite ever shots of this stunning boy, Dennis. It was early on a Sunday morning, so early that people were still enjoying their night out! Dennis wasn’t fazed and got to work, looking his usual majestic and striking self against the vivid red of China Town. As well as his ability to pull off any pose virtually anywhere, he is also the biggest mummies boy.
