I just witnessed one of THE GREATEST films ever made much less best Godzilla movie ever. The hype was real for the 100% on RottenTomatoes Godzilla Minus One This movie has so much depth due to the deep character driven storyline of a failed disgraceful kamikaze pilot who returns to nothing only to take on hope through a orphaned child and wily woman who he slowly falls for, yet his internal war of shame and pain rages too much within himself to even love anyone anymore, only to almost be redeemed by love but only to loss it all , then willing to fight to the death for revenge by being the most dangerous monster a person could be, suicidal, to deal with the biggest monster of them all, Godzilla, which as always stunningly represents the fears and demons of the main character. Absolutely brilliant action with Godzilla, stellar story, and THE BEST movie of 2023 and it should be nominated in the Oscars for best film. Or, taking a picture in a theater would put me... in the danger zone โ ๏ธ... so I made due with a picture from the website and some creative editing. First off, the movie was solid โ๏ธ - nothing mind blowing, but a lot of good nostalgia and retooling of the plot from the first one. Time to... Cruise... into the actual wrap review. It's definitely not going to make the... Top... of my list, as I'm not very Gun(g) ho about it. It's not going to Mach 10 by any means. The description (turkey, bacon, tomato, avocado, ranch) sounds great, but to paraphrase, it's not the wrap ingredients (plane), but the chef (pilot). It was dark, but I didn't taste any bacon or avocado, so I can imagine the cook quoting Rooster "You told me not to think" when they made this one. (2022) a couple of kids had been experimented on as college students which allowed them to start using their minds in extraordinary ways. They later get together and have a daughter who is even more special than they are. The group that had preformed the experiment now fears the daughter and her powers and want to track her down to study her powers. Can the parents keep the daughter safe? For starters I think it is hard for a Stephen King book to transfer well to the big screen. I think many of his movies fall so flat compared to what the book had done. This movie was kind of flat and kind of lacked any kind of spooks or jumps. I thought the casting was done well and the acting was fine. The storyline is a little weak and could definitely taken a much deeper dive in character development. Why not make this large book a little longer of a movie and get more details in? For starters today is my birthday and since March 4th was released as opening day for this movie I have been soooo excited to see it! Batman is back! Batman in just his 2nd year of crime fighting and is still trying to find his groove. Gotham has the Riddler trying to help everyone to connect the dots to uncover the truth of the lies and cover ups happening in the city. We also have Cat Woman and the Penguin in for good measure. This movie is definitely the darkest of them all, with lots of scenes at night. Also this is intense! There is no other way to describe it. For starters I finished this movie and I have decided I must see it again in the theater before it leaves it. Also at some point I will do a ranking of the movies and will say Dark Knight is still my #1. I thought this was done well but just a couple things made it a little silly to me. Like why does it rain so much and why does Batman sound like he is walking in 100lb boots? But I did like it a lot. I give it a 8.5 out of 10. Though I may change this rating after another view. After second viewing. This movie is quite beautiful. Batman against the fire in one of the scenes is just amazing. Though I found the rain and boots annoying the first time it helped set the tone the second time. The acting really is great and I feel like everyone shines in their own way. This time I kept hearing the leather noise but not as annoyed as I was last time. I must say I liked the movie overall even more the second time around. Ok so I don't know how to give a summary without at least a couple small spoilers. I will keep them small or you can skip reading the summary. You have been warned. A small girl is forced to live on the streets of London. Thankfully she meets 2 ragtime boys just like her and they become a family. They work together to keep each other safe. The girl keeps an eye on fashion her whole life and finally gets the chance to show what she's got and she kills it! Now she is being pulled between her old self (the one who had to focus on the streets) and her new found self in the fashion world. We all know what will win but what other things will be revealed? I must say the ads for this movie suck you in! I feel like some of the stuff (the dress fire) would have been amazing to watch for the first time on the big screen. Though the movie was super well done, gorgeous, and fun, I kind of wish there was more. Its hard to pin point what though. It almost has a Devil Wears Prada feel.
