Mi sono sempre chiesto cosa s'intende per #PeccatoCardinale come il titolo di questo brano a tratti #CyberMetal dei @conceptionmusic tratto da quello piccolo grande capolavoro che è #Flow , probabilmente il loro lavoro migliore con #InYourMultitude (anche se pure #ParallelMinds non scherza). Tra l'altro è il titolo anche di un bellissimo brano dei #BlackSabbath da un altro capolavoro #Cult come #CrossPurposes (probabilmente il migliore con #TonyMartin , anche qui in lotta con #Tyr e #HeadlessCross ). O almeno mi sono chiesto quale significato figurato gli avesse dato #RoyKhan , nel brano dei Black Sabbath è più chiaro e si riferisce ai 7 Peccati Capitali. Personalmente credo che Roy intedesse che il peccato cardinale è ergersi a un semi-Dio, avere una Seconda Vista, il che è decisamente il testo di un 26/27enne, in fondo anche io scrivevo cose simili a quell'età. Più avanti capisci semplicemente che siamo quello che sismo, di "Divino"abbiamo più che altro la possibilità di CREARE attraverso l' #Arte o meglio "Ricreare"con tutti i limiti del caso la Creazione Divina dell'Universo e del Mondo. Quindi una qualche scintilla Divina c'è in noi, ma meglio chiamarla come diceva il mio amato #WilliamBlake : #DivinUmana , ij fondo siamo molto più Umani che Divini e molto più di quello che pensiamo come diceva il brano conclusivo di un altro capolavoro come #RemedyLane dei #PainofSalvation del genietto #DanielGildenlow @danielgildenlow @painofsalvationband , band che mi piacque molto all'epoca, ma ammetto che alla lunga mi stufò e non segui più da "Scarsick"(mi ricordo che piaceva molto anche a @real_roy_khan , quando si dice "affinità elettive", ma credo fosse anche per l'influenza di @geofftateomc nel cantato di Daniel oltre al folle Mike Patton, uno che in fatto di Peccati Cardinali/Capitali ne potrebbe dire di ogni sicuramente😅). Non perdete il video relativo allo stesso album su www.youtube.com/antoniogiorgiosgoldenmetal844 con tanto di #videoclip di #IsThereAnybodyOutThere della band norvegese del 2020(in piena Pandemia, quando uscì l'album che fu il mio preferito di quell'anno difficile ma importante per tutti i più "svegli") dove compaio anche io per qualche secondo. Fatta questa premessa parliamo di #StateofDeception (di cui ho preso recentemente anche la versione Deluxe con ben 3 cds e che ha 2 inediti tra cui la notevole #MonumentinTime che come titolo mi ricorda la bellissima "Monument"dei grandi #FatesWarning di "Inside Out" @fateswarningofficial e 2 versioni di due brani del capolavoro #ParallelMinds , tra cui la riuscitissima e modernizzata #RolltheFire , direi brano simbolo della band scandinava e del suo stile #EsoticMetal degli esordì), uscito come detto nel 2020 e che pur non raggiungendo i picchi e fasti del passato, rimane un grande album molto più ispirato dei Kamelot con Karevik, il cui paragone è inevitabile pur facendo generi differenti. L'unica vera pecca è la brevità e forse sarebbe stato più logico fare un unico grande album con i brani dell' #EP del ritorno #MyDarkSymphony che aveva materiale altrettanto valido, ne sarebbe venuto fuori un vero capolavoro di #MelodicProgMetal . C'è un'atmosfera sia ariosa che più Dark com'è nel DNA della band di #ToreOstby & #RoyKhan , coppia decisamente affiatata e talentuosa che magari con lo stop di 20 anni ha sicuramente perso qualche treno dopo un album meraviglioso come #Flow (troppo avanti per il periodo e probabilmente il più bello e maturo della band, non a caso la maggior parte dei brani live presenti nel cd 2 sono tutti da "Flow"). Tra i brani migliori dell'album l'iniziale e teatrale #OfRavenandPigs con un bel Riff Dark quasi alla #BeyondTwilight e un Roy protagonista con la sua naturale espressività che preferisce l'atmosfera al facile acuto e impersonifica un personaggio ribelle e contestatore che riporta chiaramente alle giuste (o meno) contestazioni del periodo del Covid-19 in cui si creò una quasi insanabile spaccatura tra i politicamente corretti e i dissidenti. Ottimo il resto (top #waywardlybroken ). Voto=9 AG
Anche se il compleanno era ieri(e ahimè l'avevo colpevolmente dimenticato😅), rimedio con questo sentito post a dedicato a due #Acquario doc nati nello stesso giorno (sarà un caso?🤔 Non credo per dirla come un noto "personaggio televisivo"di sicura Fantasia😂), il 17 Febbraio appunto: la nuova curatrice dell'ormai storico e leggendario #DylanDog creato da papà #TizianoSclavi , uomo d'Immaginazione, Cuore e Intelligenza di grande levatura, ossia la verace e appassionata #BarbaraBaraldi , che spero di conoscere anche dal vivo e anzi, spero anche di collaborare per il futuro al di là dei miei impegni musicali (oltre che di docente di Arte)che mi impegnano e assorbono notevolmente. Ho sempre voluto scrivere per Dylan e ho già presentato dei soggetti in passato, sto solo aspettando il momento giusto di più tranquillità per farlo perché ovviamente ci tengo molto(oltre ad avere molti brani nel cassetto ispirati alle gesta del celebre #IndagatoredellIncubo ). L'altro Acquario doc è il carissimo amico e collaboratore di lunga data (da quando avevamo il nostro gruppo #ProgRock / #ProgMetal #GalaxyTrainShop insieme all'altro caro amico @spacemartini , quindi capirete le influenze #Prog che appaiono nella mia Musica qua e là, lo stesso #GoldenMetal è un concetto molto #Progressive come ispirazione e obiettivi volendo far progredire lo stesso #Metal / #Rock ), il grande chitarrista(ma anche bassista e arrangiatore oltre che fonico e ingegnere del suono) #PieroSanacore (anche ex- #SoulSecret @soulsecretband ), con il quale ho continuato a collaborare per altri progetti non sviluppati, varie covers finite in miei tributi e albums compilation come #ParallelMinds - #AHeartfeltTributertoConception , #KeeperoftheSabbathStone - #AGoldenTributetoBlackSabbath e il doppio #TalesfromHeavenandHell (tra cui anche 3 brani registrati come test per i norvegesi @conceptionmusic quando erano orfani di #RoyKhan , brani finiti nel mini-Tributo del 2023)e come fonico di fiducia per le mie registrazioni vocali (dopo aver provato anche altri studi di registrazione dove non ho trovato lo stesso feeling, un po' come #JamesLabrie fa con il suo ex- chitarrista dei #WinterRose ). Grazie come sempre a @loudandproud.it per questo mio momento di grande fermento #artistico . Comunicato Stampa del nuovo video di #Snow , remake creativo di un classico minore dei #Kamelot periodo #Epica che uscì per la storica @noiserecordsofficial (il loro capolavoro insieme a #TheBlackHalo che uscì invece per l'altrettanto storica @steamhammer.official / #SPV , basati sul #Faust di #Goethe ), singolo che anticipa #OnceandFutureKingdom - #AnEpicTributeKamelot , Tributo d' #Autore della band di #Tampa per la quale feci il mio provino più importante nel 2011 avendo ottime chances di farcela (peccato che era un perfetto sconosciuto senza alcuna discografia ufficiale e se fosse capitato oggi sarebbe stato diverso sicuramente, ma mai dire mai). Ci saranno tante sorprese e vari innesti teatrali e in italiano con addirittura parte vocali in growl/scream (ovviamente per la parte di Mephisto che fu interpretato da #Shagrath @shagrathofficial dei celebri #Symphonic Black Metallers norvegesi #DimmuBorgir @dimmuborgir nella storica e quasi sabbathiana #MarchofMephisto ...ho fatto tutto io ma certo se lo volesse fare un @danifilthofficial sarebbe super!!😅 Anche un Fernando Ribeiro dei portoghesi e Latini come noi @moonspellofficial .... Chissà, vedremo, fino alla firma del contratto con la label che pubblicherà il disco c'è tempo!!). Feci una versione totalmente in italiano dei due albums che presentai anche ad una compagnia teatrale per un progetto teatrale da #MetalOpera nel lontano 2005, presentandola al management della band stessa un paio di anni prima del provino e ci saranno dei riferimenti e innesti da quel lavoro mai portato a termine. Inoltre è uscito anche il mini-tributo ai norvegesi #Conception sempre con #RoyKhan pubblicato in questi giorni via @ausrdigital #ParallelMinds - #AHeartfeltTributetoConception , che raccoglie brani registrati tra il 2010 e 2014 per un ulteriore provino che feci per loro (preludio a quello per i Kamelot, tanto c'era in ballo sempre lo stesso singer, indubbiamente quello più vicino alle mie tonalità e stile seppur molto diverso e fortunatamente direi in alcuni aspetti: ci sono in giro fin troppo cloni). Is stuff recorded between 2010 & 2014 when the band was virtually "frozen" considering the commetiments of the members in other bands and projects and I recorded the songs with the help of the early excellent guitar and bass player @pierosanacore from @dissonanthika_live and ex @soulsecretband for and eventual consideration as New Singer of the band after an advice/suggestion by Tommy Newton : he said that my voice was very close to Roy and in fact this was a kind of prelude of my audition for Kamelot in 2011/2012 , the successfull band with Roy Khan as lead singer. Arrivato oggi la riedizione rimasterizzata e con bonus tracks di un capolavoro che ovviamente già ho nella versione originale. Un album che ha influenzato certe mie atmosfere mistiche, romantiche e anche sensuali che trovate nei miei albums. Basta pensare a una song come #AMillionGods che ha chiaramente fornito diversi spunti vocali e strumentali a un brano esotico come #LucifersTreasures in #IMAJICA dove infatti avevo anche invitato lo stesso #RoyKhan a duettare con me nel ruolo di un manager musicale diabolico (il personaggio mefistofelico di #LouCypher ispirato al #LouisCypher del #Cult #AngelHeart interpretato dalla leggenda #RobertDeNiro così come altra ispirazione è il #JohnMilton di #TheDevilsAdvocate interpretato dall'altrettanto leggendario e doppio istrionico di De Niro #AlPacino ), ma alla fine mi sono accorto che andavo benissimo io che nel brano sono quasi più Roy Khan di Roy stesso!!😌😁 #InYourMultitude uno dei tre capolavori dei #Conception (gli altri due #Flow & #ParallelMinds )e forse il più completo e maturo splendidamente prodotto da #TommyNewton . #AntonioGiorgio #ToreOstby #IngarAmlien #ArveHeimdall #ProgMetal #EsoticMetal #MelodicMetal
