When I go on a trip to Walt Disney World I have to get DOLE Whip at least once. Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows has a quick-service restaurant called Pineapple Lanai, where guests can purchase DOLE Whip Soft-serve and Pineapple Floats. On my last trip in April, I was able to try the New Kakamora DOLE Whip which is a Pineapple DOLE Whip with chilled chocolate-covered pretzel rod arms and white chocolate medallion face. Last week we stayed at our DVC home resort of the Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. Unfortunately my room requests were not fulfilled ☹️ but the building we got wasn't too bad as it was steps away from the walkway to the TTC (with ferry boats and monorail to MK and Epcot). We had a garden view, first floor room in Pago Pago building. The resort was more crowded than last year of course but it wasn't as bad as I was expecting. This resort is so beautiful. The grounds are expertly maintained (I saw a cast member cleaning the outside walkways with a floor cleaner like the ones they use at hospitals). Last year the rooms were reovated to be Moana themed and the dvc rooms got sofa bed upgrades to the superior murphy style pull-down beds. The main pool has a view of the castle and the view of MK's fireworks on the beach/grounds is amazing. The kids love the pools (the main one having a fun waterslide and splash pad). There is also an on-site location dedicated to the highly sought after Dole Whips!!🍦 These can only be found in a couple locations around WDW property. I always wish we could stay longer. A week seems to fly by.
