It’s #findamakerweek ! I’m Nell, a weaver. I’m from Yorkshire, exiled in the sticks in the Peak District. I love the sea, and try to weave its beauty constantly. I’m expanding my practice- a new loom, building a weave shed and scaling up my sustainable little practice, thanks to funding from @aceagrams and the David Cantor Memorial Trust. My studio should have been finished but we didn’t bank on the wettest, windiest autumn and winter and illness. So plans are much delayed but we will get there. Weaving is slow and weavers are patient and determined. So onwards we go, catching the waves in thread. Paws at Robin Hood's Bay Almost turned back when we started getting battered by hail as soon as we got out of the car, but the steep walk down to the beach was worth it and the sun came out for us in the end! Sadly, the dog shop was closed when we visited, but it looked very cute, so that's pinned for our next visit. #pawsacrossbritain
