Jersey Presentations โ๏ธ for our first Puketฤpapa Roskill Premier team. This Saturday marks the first team to represent Roskill in the Premier grade in almost 20 years. As our Founder Nick Tuialii spoke to last night, everything we continue to do is historic. 2005 was the last time there was a Premier team in our community under the Mount Roskill Districts Club. We are proud, as a standalone new Senior club, to offer the Premier grade back to our area. The journey to get to this point has not been easy in the slightest. ลwairaka Parkrun: Starting 2024 with a 5km Blast! ๐ฅ โ I Just completed my first 5km Parkrun of the year at ลwairaka, and let me tell you, it was an energizing experience! The run was challenging, but crossing that finish line left me with an incredible sense of accomplishment and feeling much better. โ One of the reasons I enjoy Parkrun is that itโs not about how fast you run, not about speed โ it's about completing the race, regardless of whether you run or walk. 5k ลwairaka Parkrun: I had a great experience this morning at ลwairaka Parkrun, returning for the first time in 6 months. Although I've been running to the gym and back this month, today's run was quite challenging. Dealing with stitches slowed me down, and at one point, I even felt like giving up. However, I remembered the famous phrase, "NEVER GIVE UP," I adjusted my pace to accommodate the circumstances and pushed through to the finish line. โ During the run, I had the pleasure of meeting some wonderful people. One individual I spoke to mentioned that ลwairaka Parkrun is known for its friendly atmosphere, and I couldn't agree more.
