Once we'd docked in Olden, we disembarked and made our way on foot along the fjord edge to the village of Loen. We queued for an hour to catch the near vertical ride on the Skylift to upper slopes of Mount Hoven. I was in my element - in the snow, in the sun, surrounded by jaw dropping beauty. We spent a good few hours walking, sledging, and soaking it all in. I think my feature in this month's @simplethingsmag was the first time I've put down in writing my aim to one day open a vintage 'department store'. My vision is more than an traditional antiques centre and I even have my eye on certain buildings in Norwich that I know would be perfect (and fantastic local sellers I'd want to be in there!)
