The memory of being here with you Is one I’m gonna take my life through ‘Cause some days stay gold forever. 🤍 It’s almost a sort of full-circle moment to have this signed booklet in my home now. It’s photographed here side-by-side with my original CD from 2012. The EP by The Wanted is one of the most dear albums of all time to me. 1 year today, The Wanted, the most iconic and legendary pop band who I in fact like listening to, sadly lost their band member, Thomas Anthony Parker, from terminal brain tumour at just age 33. From my knowledge, Tom was best known for being a popular singer and band member of the pop group @thewantedmusic, he was also a married man who had a wife and kids. I’m sure his family and loved ones are thinking of him today a year on from his death. I personally think this is sad. He was taken too young as well, he fought so hard but had a long way to go. One year ago today I attended what was definitely not only a heart-warming night of reliving my childhood but also the most poignant night of my life. These boys - Max, Jay, Siva, Tom and Nathan have helped me so much over the past 12 months you 5 are an amazing constant sense of presence. The highlight of the night was hearing All Time Low for the first time in 8 years, followed by show me love and the tear jerking Gold Forever where the boys revealed that £1 from all tickets across this tour went to the Brain Tumour Charity. This night I felt 10 years old all over again. We love you and miss you so much Tom and all the Wanted boys. Wishing @sivaofficial all the very best for tomorrow's skate. Let's get to the final for Tom! I hope one day we can do this again soon.
