🌟 Happy International Women’s Day! 🌟 Let’s talk about women who inspire us! This is my mumma - she will kill me for using this pic 😂 For those playing along with the family tree, she is the daughter of Daphne 🥰 My mum has been a nurse her entire adult life. She started nursing school when she was 16 and she is retiring this year at the age of 66. Now my maths is not great, but that is 50 years of looking after other people! Not only has she been a nurse for 50 years, the majority of that time has been in pediatrics looking after the most precious children. Now that is incredible in itself but there is so much more! She has always been my biggest supporter, especially in my Love Daohne life. She is the best Nanny anyone could ask and is always there is pick up the pieces when life has not always gone to plan! When you talk about role models, I’m not sure it gets any better. Thank you mum for always being there and for having the kids this weekend so we can have a weekend away lol! Thumbs up for my mum 👍 I set her a little challenge at the beginning of the year to see if she would let me train her for 10 mins x3 times a week for a month. For someone that hasn’t really exercised, I’m celebrating these little and often moments with her as these often create small and sustainable habits contributing towards her health and well-being 😊 First week in the bag ✅ well done mum I’m proud of you 👏 (next week we will try x3 lots of 15 mins) Focus on them small micro goals, the big goal will be achieved automatically 😉 That smile mum….
