TO RETREAT // Een weekje in de zon. Even een break met routines en de wat saaier lijkende januari/februari weken. Ik geef me min of meer last minute op voor een retraite op Ibiza. Bij een lieve vriendin op een voor mij bekende plek. Dus all safe en sound. To retreat {Oxford dic.}: 1. to move back or withdraw. 2. (of an army) to withdraw from enemy forces as a result of their superior power or after a defeat. En nog een paar variaties. Wat zijn mijn motieven eigenlijk? To retreat. Hoewel februari zon, plek, de lieve vriendin met heldere scherpe liefdevolle blik en mijn altijd aanwezige leer- en nieuwsgierigheid zeker drijfveren zijn, herken ik ook de terugtrek beweging. De behoefte ergens uit te stappen. Mee te breken. Werk gerelateerd. En soms ontstaat dat gewoon. Picking up the signals. Listening. Mijn rol bij een van mijn grote opdrachtgevers verandert. Ik beweeg mee maar ik voel dat dit een weg van compromissen wordt. Meestal ben ik dan minder in mijn kracht. Ik weet nog niet hoe het exact zal verlopen, dus nog geen helder beeld over het vervolg. Even afwachten. En voelen. Open. Wat is het beste voor de opdracht en de klant? Always a first question. En ook; waar ga ik blij van worden? Dat ook. Ook voel ik dat ik klaar ben met een andere rol die ik al langer vervul en besluit deze rol op te zeggen. Zat er allang te hands-on in. Ook hier dus niet meer 100% in mijn kracht. Tijd om over te dragen en de energie balans op te maken. Waar voeg ik nog waarde toe en wie of wat voegt waarde toe aan mij? Eerlijk en zelfkritisch zijn geeft ruimte. So. Time to retreat. Je terugtrekken. Wat een timing. Bijzonder hoe dingen samen komen. Hoe ruimte ontstaat. En wat is het mooi om mee te kunnen bewegen met wat zich aandient. Het retreat voor de vrouw van 40+. Gericht op de Menopauze & Vitaal ouder worden. Deze fase van je leven kan je fysiek en mentaal als een uitdaging ervaren. What a reTREAT 💫 We disconnected from our phones to reconnect to our fellow humans and ourselves. We hiked and hammam’d. We sang kundalini mantras passed down by Cornelius Tittel as the sun came up and drank natural wine under the evening stars. We did the almost extinct activity of reading during lazy afternoons. We healed our bodies and minds thanks to @pavese.co. We were grateful for what we have and manifested for what we want on the numerological portal that was 11-11-22 in a beautiful manifestation ritual by my Soulsister at Large @delilahkhomo . We ate the most delicious fresh food in abundance thanks to Jean Noel. We laughed so much my cheeks need their own retreat just to recover. Thank you to the most wonderful, funnest group who made this so special.
