Atacama desert, you were truly incredible 🦙🌵🏜️ . I had read a lot on line about how scary the roads are here and how people wouldn’t recommend driving, especially on your own. However, I am so so glad I didn’t listen to them. I loved having a car here and having the freedom to do exactly what I wanted (including stopping every 5 minutes to take photos of vicuñas). Honestly, a couple of the roads were a bit dodgy, but mostly it was super easy to drive in Atacama. Dinosaur footprints in Sucre! A gazillion years ago there was a lake in this valley that dinosaurs would visit, hence the footprints. Some time later, the earth shook the mountains into existence, and the footprints were eventually found when the quarry started cutting into the mountain to make cement, hence the footprints on the almost vertical wall. Pretty neat! I almost missed this but I'm so glad I didn't, it's a fun little trip out of the city to visit the cheesy Dino park, with a tour to have a close up of the dinosaur footprints.

So with some time off from working, and a birthday around the corner, I decided to book a trip to a place I wanted to go for quite a while - Patagonia. It had been around 10 years since I was last in Chile, and I forgot how long it took to get there. On one of the mornings we were treated to one of the most spectuclar sunrise's I have seen for some time. The whole of the Torres del Paine park and peaks were lit up with a mixture of blues and pinks. Such a stunning sight. It was crowded, but managed to perch on the side of the hill to get the iconic shot of the mountains and the reflection in the small lake below. The light was never the same the next day! A few days in Sucre was just what I needed to reset and get back into the 'solo traveller' vibe, after a month of crazy adventures with the best people, and a week of food poisoning, and some sad goodbyes. I picked a great time to visit, once a month they have a "no car" day to try and cut down on emissions, and it's a really fun time to be in the city center.

拉美100日旅行攻略（上）‼️ 👉🏻 拉美旅行時間？ 👉🏻拉美100日旅行路線？ 👉🏻拉美景點分類（自然風光/文化遺產小鎮/藝術塗鴉之都/世界文化古蹟/博物館愛好者） 👉🏻哪些國家需要辦簽證？ ———————————————————————— 👉🏻再分享多一些如何規劃旅行路線：不管去哪裡旅行，我都是看了一些零零碎碎的攻略和自己的一些認知後，在Google地圖mark上我想去的地方，但mark到足夠多之後規劃路線就變成很簡單的事情啦‼️ 但是長途旅行相對大工程事前要看的攻略和研究的交通線路比較多，但很好玩啦（對於J人來說😆）在我mark了一些在拉美想去的地方會，我先鎖定幾個國家然后策劃路線，今次思路是從巴西🇧🇷出發（因爲香港飛巴西聖保羅最便宜），然後一路向南去阿根廷🇦🇷，到達阿根廷最南端Ushuaia後再一路向北到智利🇨🇱，陸路再過玻利維亞🇧🇴 玻利維亞後就直接飛到墨西哥🇲🇽Cancún，再從Cancún飛到古巴🇨🇺Havana，在古巴玩了一圈後飛回Cancún玩幾天後飛去Mexico City 👉🏻也很多人問：為什麼不去秘魯🇵🇪呢？因爲秘魯是一個我非常期待的地方，但這幾個月份是秘魯的雨季，所以想以後專門再來一次😆😆 ———————————————————————— 👉🏻🇧🇴玻利維亞簽證：如果可以的話儘量在鄰近第三方國家，比如秘魯利馬/智利聖地牙哥等地方先辦理玻利維亞簽證，因爲只需要USD$3️⃣0️⃣，比起入境玻利維亞辦落地簽會便宜很多我當時從智利Atacama入境玻利維亞還遇到了黑心的入境官，一開始要$140，然後答應了我說的$120，然後後面來了幾個中國遊客硬要收$130😒😒😒 因爲內容比較多分了上下2期😆😆 如果以後有打算可能去拉美的朋友們記得先收藏起來啊🌟🌟 如果大家喜歡這期記得點讚👍🏻留言分享啊！謝謝❤️❤️

Redescendus du Descabezado Chico, on empaquete nos affaires et on part. On suit un tracé GPS datant de l'année passée, mais on se retrouve plusieurs fois face à des murs de neige infranchissables. D'autres fois, des pentes abruptes sont recouvertes d'un manteau blanc trop glissant pour être traversé. On crée donc notre propre chemin, on ne peut compter que sur notre instinct. Parfois, il se trompe et on doit remonter sur une dune avec une pente de 30%. Tout ce sable nous prend une énergie folle et la nourriture n'est pas assez calorique par rapport à ce qu'on dépense. Après 5 jours, on est épuisé, mais il faut avancer à tout prix. Avancer pour éviter la nuit ✨ Arrivés en bas d'un col, il n'y a aucun endroit plat et à l'abri du vent pour poser la tente, on construit un semblant de mur. Enfin dans nos sacs de couchage, on repose nos corps et nos yeux brûlés par le soleil. When @nols_patagonia announced earlier this season that they were doing the WFR recertifications in Coyhaique, Marco and I decided to travel with our tiny 🚗 Suzuki Jimny to Coyhaique and do a road trip on the famous Carretera Austral afterwards. I always wanted to hike up to Mt Cerro Castillo so first stop after Coyhaique was decided. The day we planned to hike we woke up to the most perfect weather. But some bad news awaited us at the park entrance; due to the recent snowfall, park rangers had decided to close the last part of the hike which lets you to a beautiful lagoon. It took some convincing but they finally let us hike all the way up after we showed them our TDP guide credentials and the gear we carried with us (GPS in reach and radio. ) We negotiated fresh snow for an hour and sank waist deep more than once but we made it to the look out point! We were the only two humans up there, blessed with an otherworldly scenery. 🤍🙏
