In March, I took a solo trip to Paris and stayed at @brachparis a luxury boutique hotel in the 16th Arrondissement. Solo traveling has given me a reason to live again and reminds me to stop and enjoy life. On March 6th, I turned 35, and as this was a milestone birthday, I wanted to do it big and celebrate me. I have had various health challenges over the past year, from a cancer scare to liver problems to painful abdominal muscle spasms. While my chronic health conditions will be a life’s long journey, I am grateful and blessed not to have cancer. But God! I stayed at the Brach Paris. This luxury hotel is amazing—beautiful artwork throughout the hotel, including the guest rooms. Your room key is made of wood, which is super cool/different. We love sustainability! Brach Paris has excellent customer service/staff who are attentive to your needs to ensure a great stay. ✨Amsterdam - mon premier solo trip ✨ Il y a un peu plus d’un an en février 2023 entre deux contrats de travail 🏰 j’ai pris la décision de partir sur un coup de tête en solo à Amsterdam 🇳🇱. C’était durant une période où je ne faisais rien de mes journées. Juste avant j’avais un travail et encore avant j’étais en étude 📚 donc c’était la réelle première fois que je n’avais rien à faire comme un devoir à rendre 📄 ou juste ranger chez moi et faire le ménage ( ce que j’ai fait maintenant pendant mes week-ends ). Et donc, un jour sur un coup après m’être rendu compte que mon quotidien ne ressemblait plus à rien, j’ai pris des billets trains 🚆 aller-retour pour Amsterdam. Pourquoi Amsterdam ? C’était une destination qui m’avait toujours tenté et surtout j’ai vu que c’était très abordable 💸. Après la question se pose de pourquoi y aller seul 👤. Tout simplement, il n’y avait personne qui aurait pu venir avec moi 🥺 et donc j’ai vu cela comme un challenge. Être une femme et partir seul me faisait peur mais en fin de compte ça été une expérience incroyable 🫶🏻. Partir seul, c’est décidé seul de ce que l’on fait et surtout faire ce qu’on veut quand on veut. Tu veux te réveiller tôt pour faire une visite et bien fais le 👊🏻! LA Diaries - Day 4 🌴 Ok so I got my steps in today! I started with a hike to the Griffin Observatory ~ it was called the Fern Dell Nature Trial 🌲 I reached the top by 10 am so it was lovely and peaceful & an incredible view. This afternoon I walked to Larchmont Village ~ such a cute spot for brunch, coffee and shopping. I ate at @greatwhite and then browsed the shops. Hoping to go to Malibu tomorrow 🐬 M x

Śniadania podawane do 16:00, zatem jeżeli nie lubisz wstawać wcześnie rano... 😎 Na zdjęciu CROQUE UN BELLY: Pieczywo / konfitowany boczek / jajko sadzone / beszamel / cheddar / modra kapusta / sriracha mayo / szczypior To było naprawdę pyszne. Zresztą cała ich karta to lista naprawdę ciekawych kompozycji. Każda kanapka robi efekt "wow". Bardzo dobra relacja jakości do ceny, porcje duże, sycące, uczciwe. Bardziej lunch niż śniadanie, choć coś mniejszego i na słodko też się znajdzie. Problem tylko w tym, że to miejsce niestety trudno znaleźć. Wejście jest wejściem do biurowca (ostatnie zdjęcie). Jest tam mały potykacz, ale tak mały, do tego czarno-szary na czarnym i szarym, że trudno go zauważyć (tak, jest na ostatnim zdjęciu....zauważyliście? No właśnie). A szkoda, bo to miejsce warte uwagi. PS: Czy mogę CROQUE nazwać kanapką? I would 100% recommend this spot ~ perfect for people watching and gave Disneyland vibes. Taiwan has been fun! Taipei is interesting, it’s nothing like i expected which is a sign that i need to not have any expectations. Atacama desert, you were truly incredible 🦙🌵🏜️ . I had read a lot on line about how scary the roads are here and how people wouldn’t recommend driving, especially on your own. However, I am so so glad I didn’t listen to them. I loved having a car here and having the freedom to do exactly what I wanted (including stopping every 5 minutes to take photos of vicuñas). Honestly, a couple of the roads were a bit dodgy, but mostly it was super easy to drive in Atacama. Poznańska Ratuszova to właśnie to miejsce, w którym odkryłam wędzony majonez, o którym wspominałam Wam w ostatnim wpisie. Podany jako jeden z dodatków do naprawdę dobrego tatara. Wędzony majonez to moje nowe odkrycie kulinarne ❤️ Właśnie dla takich momentów lubię testować nowe miejsca i nowe menu ❤️ Buratta z dynią, pigwą i mandarynką - fantastyczna! Brakuje oryginalnych przystawek vege, restauracje najczęściej oferują wciąż to samo, a ta rozbija bank. Na początku wydawało mi się, że będzie zbyt słodka, ale nie, miała idealnie zbalansowany smak. I te idealnie uprażone pestki dyni ❤️ Żurek - dodatek świeżo startego chrzanu to doskonały pomysł, taka wyrazista kropka nad "i". Pierogi podane na podgrzanym talerzu - ogromny plus za taki detal. Mała uwaga do pierogów - ciasto mogłoby być odrobinę delikatniejsze, chociaż to moja subiektywna opinia, ale na pewno przydałoby się więcej sosu. Dziczyzna jest z natury dość sucha, i ok, ale tutaj sosu było niewiele, skończył mi się w okolicach trzeciego pierożka, a było ich pięć. Ratowałam się napojami. Podsumowując, to szalenie przyjemne miejsce z bardzo dobrą kuchnią polską w nowoczesnym wydaniu. The LA Diaries - Day 2 🌴 So last night me and friends drove to the Griffin Observatory and then through Hollywood! Hollywood was pretty much as described ~ a little dirty/scary in parts! Took some cool pictures though & stopped for a delicious meal 🌃 This morning I hiked to the Hollywood sign ~ was slightly concerned about snakes in some areas lol but I made it!! Was a sweaty mess at the top but felt very accomplished. I deserve a rose now 🥂 M x

Das Wasser war allerdings höchstens 8 Grad warm... also doch eher kalt 🥶🙈😅 Der TriglavNationalpark wird umarmt von den Flüssen Soca im Westen und der Tolminka im Osten. When it was 31 degrees, I treated myself to a break and a chance to cool down in the Tolminka.
