Woke up Sunday and started #75hard I just started. I didn't agonize over the reasons I wasn't ready or pull up the calendar to find events that would present a challenge, I just started. I have to start creating the life I want to live. It's up to me to create habits and routines that work for me. The diet: counting calories on the car master app. The outside workout: love it, need it, happy to reincorporate this routine from lockdown. The inside workout: lawzy bee. THAT is HARD to incorporate. For me it's anything - deep cleaning or stretching. Anything that is not binge watching TV. Water: need this priority because my new meds make me hate water. For the first time in my life struggling with water intake. Pictures: ugh. This is a good one for me because I have been avoiding pictures since I gained weight and that's a very unhealthy head space for me. No alcohol: last night was the night that I was like POUR ME A DRINK. So last night I stretched for 30 minutes and sat with my emotions. Adulting is hard. I’m 23 years old and a year ago I made a choice to pick myself up and transform a body I was not happy with. Going through old photo’s ( luckily there aren’t many 🤣) so the first pic was me at my biggest, I was actually the same weight I am now but I was a size 16! ( so weight def isn’t everything) This was 12 years ago, I never stepped foot in a gym before this was a size 8 for years and it just crept on me! I then joint a gym but never doing weights & started moving and this was the start of yo-yo dieting but to be honest I’ve never been at this size since! I found weight lifting 6 years ago when I joined Crayford weights & I never realised at the time but that did keep the fat off because as soon as the pandemic hit & I had 2 years off, the fat started coming back! So when I’m feeling I’m not at my goal weight or unhappy with my body I’m going to remind myself of the work I’ve already done on myself and will get there again! It’s a process & one I’m really enjoying doing! So glad I decided to get myself an online trainer and start getting it right.
