Being mistyped (either self-mistyped or by others) could be confusing, lead us to feeling lost and misunderstood, which is really frustrating. 😫 #fliptable I had a personal experience when different people insisted on putting me into a type they think I am (within a small time frame and minimal interaction), told me they can type people in seconds, or that I should consider another type altogether. 😅 That is not how the Enneagram is supposed to be used and definitely not the purpose of it. The Enneagram first and foremost is to help us 'meet' ourselves', to gain better self-understanding, so we can develop into the better version. Not to figure out someone and put a number on him/her. We could definitely be mistyped. But even when we are convinced of our type, self-observation is highly encouraged because that is where the development starts to take place. There's one way I know when I have found my true type. It feels like coming home. Azi se fac fix două săptămâni de când am aflat cum e să ai tendinită la umărul drept. Primele zile au fost crunte. Am simțit durere fizică, am simțit frustrare că s-a întâmplat, că nu mă pot mișca liber, că nu mă pot concentra... Apoi am avut câteva zile în care am stagnat și asta m-a mai frustrat un pic. 🙃 Abia după vreo 10 zile am simțit că am mai multă libertate de mișcare, chiar dacă eram pe slow motion. Ieri am făcut un antrenament de 40 de minute și am reușit să fiu la un 50% din capacitate. Am simțit că am înviat! Nu am alte cuvinte pentru a descrie senzația. M-am bucurat așa de tare și am fost așa de mândră de zici că am bătut vreun record. 😁 Am simțit ușurare, ca și cum mi s-a luat o greutate de pe umeri (pun intended). Nu suntem făcuți să dăm 100% în fiecare zi, în tot ce avem de făcut. Iar când avem doar 50% de dat și îl dăm pe tot, am dat, de fapt, 100% din ce aveam disponibil. Pentru zilele în care îți reproșezi că nu te-ai ridicat la nivelul așteptărilor tale, vreau să îți amintesc că 50% e mai mult decât 0. Ne vine ușor să măsurăm rezultatele atinse sau distanța rămasă până la ele. Nu ne vine la fel de natural să ne uităm la progres, la drumul parcurs deja. At least once every week or two, I make out time to sit by myself in a cafe or the library and just watch people come and go. Most times, I write (like I'm doing now) or I just muse about life in general and mine in particular. As much as I enjoy meeting new people and spending time with loved ones, I really enjoy spending time with myself. I find I am most productive when I'm quiet and by myself. It's even more fun for me when I don't have to rush off to work or go do something else. I just use this time to appreciate life and appreciate God who gifted it to me. No matter how hard or bad life may be for you today, I'm sure there's at least one thing you can think of to be grateful for. Sit down now, spend time to remember the good in your life (it's not all bad) and in gratitude, give the Lord praise for it. A habit reinforced over time becomes part of your identity 🔄 but it doesn’t have to be how the story ends 📕 A cognitive loop is the process you go through when a thought, becomes a feeling which prompts an action resulting in a certain outcome. For example, an unhealthy loop might go something like… You’ve been given an opportunity but our fear and self doubt take the wheel 🏎️ 🤓 Thought: Wow. This is an exciting opportunity but I do not have the confidence, nor do I feel ready to take this on 😨 Feeling: I’m in over my head. Scared. Intimidated. Not good enough 😣 Behaviour: Either backs away from the opportunity and says no, or plays small only doing the bare minimum or procrastinates like crazy Result: No results or very little result, not what you were hoping for 😕 Reinforcement: See, told you I wasn’t ready or cut out for this. I’m not good enough. I don’t qualify. This isn’t for me ☠️ ..and so the cycle begins again… Let me give you another example… 👇🏼👇🏼 Thought: “Wow, I really don’t like how I look right now and I’m so unfit” 😕 Feeling: Low, crappy and disappointed with self 😞 Behaviour: Reaches for the “comfort” food to get the instant sugar hit even though you know long term it’s contributing to the problem 🍬 Result: You put on a kilo or two and still don’t like how you look and you still get puffed walking up the stairs 😮💨 Reinforcement: Yep, here I am again unhappy with how I look and how I feel in my body and still I’m unfit 😑 ..and so the cycle begins again.. Thank the heavens above the cycle can be broken 🙌🏼🙏🏼⚡️ Awareness is the first key to breaking this kinda cycle, start to observe your thoughts and patterns 💭 Stop yourself as you think a thought that’s unhelpful and holding you back, and rethink it from the other side of the coin. A new perspective, one looking through the lens of love 🫶🏼 Every time you think an unhealthy unhappy thought, catch yourself and think a new empowering, uplifting thought ❤️ Because new thoughts 💡 provide new feelings 🥰 provide new behaviours 🤸🏻♂️ provide new results 🏆 reinforcing new habits 🤾🏻♀️ And what d’ya know, repeated over time, you’re a new person 🌟😉

When I became a mom, I dreamed of being the mom that was there for it all. Cheering on the sidelines like psycho, there for all the fieldtrips, spending weekends at tournaments, etc. I didn’t quite get that growing up- because my parents are beyond hard workers and never stop doing that to this day. Being a family of 14, farm family- there was always work to do, so that’s what my parents did. I 100% understand NOW why my parents missed alot of my things growing up, but I didn’t understand back then. I’m the parent now and 8 years ago, I could see that vision of the mom I wanted to be, slipping away because I was working all the time. I knew I needed to bring in an income, but at the expense of my kids and the short years I have with them to make memories. So when this business presented itself to me after I simply started my wellness journey- I KNEW I had to run with it. This business has allowed to me to continue on my wellness journey, live life by my design, provide for my family, AND be present in not only my children’s lives but the lives of others who mean a lot to me. Which brings me to the point of this super spontaneous trip to see and support family that we took this weekend. ❤️ I can’t create a vision for you life- but I can help you see it yourself and guide in the journey along side me.
