Comemorando o #StarWarsDay vamos ao Universo 19201997, aqui a variação temporal levou o clássico da ficção científica de 1977 a ter o seu elenco composto pelas PRIMEIRAS OPÇÕES do estúdio para os atores do filme. Com isso coube aos produtores convencer Burt Reynolds com 41 anos na época a aceitar o papel de Han Solo, sendo o ator já um grande astro desde o final dos anos 60 e especializado em filmes de ação desde a metade dos anos 70, ele casava com a primeira proposta do roteiro de ter um Han mais velho no filme... Pro papel de Luke Skywalker a primeira aposta do estúdio era um jovem de 23 anos chamado John Travolta, que já protagonizava a série "Welcome Back, Kotter" na ABC e tinha chamado a atenção de todos em Carrie a Estranha. L’infernale Quinlan (1958) mostra uno degli incipit più famosi e memorabili della storia del cinema. Il piano sequenza di 3 minuti e 20 secondi, magistrale nella sua esecuzione, è Orson Wells in tutta la sua essenza, potenza e genialità della sua arte cinematografica. Un film che merita ben più di una recensione data la sua estrema complessità. E’ una storia di sconfitte e comicità nera, in un contesto alla deriva, tra lugubri pozzi petroliferi, vecchi tralicci e magnifiche ombre a ragnatela. Ci troviamo ad un incrocio tra il gotico e il crimine, che ci porta inevitabilmente nel mondo dell'espressionismo, accompagnati da fantastiche interpretazioni di attori perfettamente immersi nella vicenda narrata. L’originalità del capitano di polizia Quinlan sta nell’avere un grande fiuto, un intuito ineguagliabile nel trovare indizi e incastrare i colpevoli ma c’è un problema: Quinlan costruisce le prove che incastrano i colpevoli, inventa le trappole che inchiodano i colpevoli, o… forse gli innocenti. E di prova in prova, di indizio in indizio, di trappola in trappola Quinlan stesso diventa il vero colpevole. 🩵 Kultalbum 👌💣🔅💯! 🔹️ Pink Floyd war die bedeutenste und erfolgreichste progressive Rockband aller Zeiten. Sie gründete sich 1965. Die Wurzeln liegen in Cambridge England. Dort lernten sich Syd Barrett, Roger Waters und David Gilmour kennen. 1968 schied der Sänger und Gitarrist Syd Barrett krankheitsbedingt aus. Bis dahin spielte Pink Floyd Psychedelic-Rock. 🔹️ Danach war die Stammbesetzung folgende: Roger Waters; Bass, Gesang David Gilmour; Gitarre, Bass, Keybord, Gesang Richard Wright; Keybord, Gesang Nick Mason; Schlagzeug 🔹️ Die Gruppe wechselte ihren Musikstil zu klassischem Progressive-Rock und Art-Rock. Sie feilten an ihrem Musikstil wie kaum eine andere Band zuvor und legten Meilensteine der Rockmusikgeschichte vor. Jeder von uns hat wahrscheinlich sein Lieblingsalbum von Pink Floyd. Es ist so schwer festzumachen wann die klassische Phase von Pink Floyd begann. Bei mir beginnt sie mit *Dark Side of the Moon* und endet mit *the Wall*. 🔹️ Beim Rekonstruieren meiner alten Schallplattensammlung habe ich viel Glück gehabt. Alle meine Pink Floyd LP's habe ich abgegeben. Aber mein Lieblingsalbum *Animals* hätte ich nie hergeben dürfen. Nun habe ich es wieder entdeckt. 🔹️ Ich hätte jetzt diese LP gekauft, allein des Covers wegen. Da hätte nicht einmal unbedingt Vinyl drinstecken müssen 😁! 🔹️ *Animals* ist das achte Studioalbum der Gruppe und erschien 1977. Ob es je remastert wurde ist mir nicht bekannt. Es ist eine Art Konzeptalbum denn die Titel beziehen sich auf *Animal Farm* von George Orwell. Die Tracks *Dog* und *Sheep* entstanden schon 1974. Damals hießen sie *(You)gotta be crazy* und *Raving and Drooling*. 🔹️ Dieses Werk erschließt sich dem Hörer nicht gleich weil es keine herausragende Titel hat. Kritiker sprechen von einem verkanntem Meisterwerk. Ich liebe dieses Pink Floyd Album forever! . . . . . . . . . . The Museum of Bronx History is showing an exhibit on the Allerton "Coops" through March.(shot 1) The "Coops" were cooperative apartment buildings, on the eastern border of Bronx Park, started in 1927 by radical Jews who wanted to leave the Lower Eastside, its slums, and greedy landlords, behind. They were to the radicalism of 1930s Bronx as a hippie commune was to the 1960s. The "coopniks," on principle, tried to racially integrate, and some very illustrious Black artists, political leaders and intellectuals became residents. One was Eric Burrough, an actor, and his family. His son Norris has now written and illustrated a graphic novel (shot 2) about an all-Black cast production of "Macbeth" by Orson Wells, in which his father acted. On Monday February 12, Norris Burroughs will be discussing his novel and his father.
