~Wanneer geen dutje meer overdag?~ Je peuter komt vroeg of laat op het punt dat hij/zij geen dutje meer nodig heeft overdag. Deze periode gaat vaak voorafgaand gepaard met wisselvallige middagdutjes, ’s nachts vaker wakker worden of ’s ochtends juist heel vroeg wakker worden. Wanneer heeft een kindje geen middagslaapje meer nodig en waar moet je op letten als het laatste dutje overdag wegvalt? Zolang je kindje ’s nachts goed slapen, ongeveer tussen 19:00u en 07:00u, is het prima om de middagdut in stand te houden. Zeker wanneer je merkt dat je kindje hier echt nog behoefte aan heeft. � Wordt je kindje plotseling vroeger wakker ’s ochtends, meer wakker ’s nachts of duurt het in slaap vallen erg lang. Dan kan dit een signaal zijn dat er geen dutje meer nodig is overdag. Door de gemiste uren in de avond / nacht kan het dan wel lijken overdag dat je kindje het middag dutje nog nodig heeft. Het kan ook zomaar zijn dat je kindje overdag gaat aangeven niet meer naar bed te willen of in bed alleen maar aan het spelen of zelfs aan het huilen is. Dit zijn allemaal signalen waaraan je zou kunnen merken dat het middagdutje niet meer nodig is.
