🏃♂️💦 Marathon training tip: Focus on hydration, sleep, and fuel! Somehow still managed the 20-mile training run with @lyndsay.campbell.5 this morning. She's a hard task master 🤣 @martinwanendeya001and @dr.shubh.mittal have been my hydration and nutrition team for the last 48 hours, while we were together for the outstanding @dentsplysirona Ankylos Masterclass for a VIP Polish delegation in London. Het heeft geen zin om eindeloos door te blijven gaan je kindje raakt gefrustreerd, jij raakt gefrustreerd. De spanning loopt op en dat is geen goed begin om je kindje te laten slapen. Probeer het 30 minuten en daarna heb je eigenlijk 2 opties: 🌜 Heb je er na 30 minuten vertrouwen in dat het slapen gaat lukken? Ga dan door tot maximaal 60 minuten. 🌜 Heb je er na 30 minuten geen vertrouwen meer in? Stop dan en probeer je kindje dan op een andere manier te laten slapen die eigenlijk ‘altijd’ lukt. Geef je baby dus wat hulp; met een draagzak, kinderwagen of desnoods in de auto. 🌜Is er uiteindelijk nog steeds geen dutje? Dan stop je ook na die 60 minuten. Je gaat uit de situatie, stopt met proberen om je kindje te laten slapen. Je telt, vanaf het moment dat je baby eigenlijk op bed had moeten liggen, de volgende wakkertijd bij op. Je kan deze wakkertijd wel wat inkorten, vanwege het feit dat je baby niet heeft geslapen, zodat je oververmoeidheid beperkt.
