Enjoying the great British weather up on Cadair Idris 🏔️ 5: It was the anniversary of Ghost's death and I commemorated it with that hike up Cadair Idris because it was my first ever solo mountain hike and he accompanied me on it 👻🐺🤍 6: Falling caught on camera at a gorgeous waterfall walk in South Wales 💦😂 7: I led a group hike in the Shropshire Hills and the weather was miserable to start but we did have some sun towards the end. Llyn Mwyngil/Talyllyn Lake is stunningly beautiful. This view from the western end of the lake overlooking the water and up towards Talyllyn Pass is spectacular. The blissfully quiet country lane on the edge of the lake and at the foot of Cader Idris is one of the most beautiful walks ever. This is about a 20 minute drive from Gwenllian. Congratulations are in order for some of our year 12 and 13 students who have been diligently working towards their Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award. Over the past few days, they embarked on an exhilarating journey, completing their expedition section by conquering The Welsh Three Peaks, scaling #Snowdon, #CadairIdris, and #PenyFan, they covered a total distance of 17 miles (27.4km) with an ascent of 2334 meters (7657ft). Being one of 3 Welsh Peaks I must admit Idris has stunning views but very unwelcoming rocky paths, worth the hassle when on the good weather as we were lucky to have today you can easily see the mountains of the Snowdon massif and the Rhinog mountain range as well as the Lleyn Peninsula.
