Today is the day we say goodbye to Darlings Downunder after 12 years of having the privilege to be able to talk cloth nappies for a living. Darlings Downunder gave us the opportunity to work with our passions, to learn soooo much about running a business (so many skills we would never have otherwise!), and to support our families in a way that meant we could be there for our children when they needed us. It meant we expanded our relationship beyond that of sisters, to business partners and collaborators in this adventure. Is it OK to have a gap at the front waist of a cloth nappy? It is absolutely fIne to have a gap at the front of the nappy when bub is lying down. In fact, you usually should! Unlike our nappy bottom here, when bub sits up, the belly will drop and will fill the gap. If the waist doesn’t have a gap when bub is lying down, then it might be too tight when bub is upright.
