🍻WEST SIDE TAVERN🍻 Visited @westsidetaverngla for the first time on Thursday night and ooft we were in for a treat 😋 Having only been in for drinks before I’d been dying to try some of the scran! So to start we shared the burratta (not pictured because it was inhaled too fast). Before trying out the ragú pizza and some fried potato slices 🤤 I’m a real fan of a thin base pizza so it was right up my street and those potato slices, well they were gone in about 2 minutes flat. Anddd just because we’re greedy we’ve got the tiramisu to finish off🫢 It was covered with what I can only describe as heavenly creamy goodness and only left me wanting another bowl! FORK RIVER CLEAN UP SATURDAY 4 MAY 2024 The #FORK river clean up will start from @kelvingroveartgalleryandmuseum (KAGM) at 10:30 on Saturday 4 May 2024. This month, our clean up takes place during the Spring #BigRiverWatch weekend, 3-6 May 2024. It is a simple citizen science activity that helps @theriverstrust to build a picture of #river #health across the #UK and #Ireland. As we clean up along the #River #Kelvin, we can further care for it by completing a quick survey on the dedicated Big River Watch app and be part of a national movement to support and improve our freshwater spaces. FORK Trustees @sallycjohnston and @helenvoce will lead our monthly clean up. You can easily spot us in the car park, as we're the ones with lots of litter pickers, bin bags and high vis vests to hand out to all volunteers. So whether a regular #volunteer or new to volunteering with FORK, we look forward to seeing you. Bring some sturdy gloves and footwear, and dress for the weather. Aluminium is the most abundant metal on earth but needs to be extracted and refined. Bauxite contains alumina (aluminium oxide). It takes four tons of bauxite to produce two tons of alumina powder.
