The movie I am reviewing today is the musical Les Miserable 2012 This movie was written by William Nicholson, Alain Boublil, Claude-Michel Schonberg, Herbert Kretzmer, and Victor Hugo. It was directed by Tom Hooper and stars Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, and Amanda Seyfried The movie begins in the back drop of yet another French revolution, with Jackmans Jean Valjean doing hard time (20 years) in prison for stealing a loaf of bread to feed his starving nephew. After helping pull a ship into port, he is given his parole papers by the stubborn Javert (Crowe) and warned to not break his parole. Of course Jean breaks his parole but with the help of a priest he gets away and starts a new life to “make things right”. Jean is able to do that and is now a factory owner and mayor of a small town. Jean saves a man in the street from being killed single handily and gets the attention of his former captor Javert! After some time Jean sees Fantine, a former worker in his factory that was fired for having a daughter (Cosette) out of wedlock, dying in a hospital and promises to find her and take care of her as best he can. Will Jean be able to avert Javert for the foreseeable future, or will he be arrested and sent to prison for life? This movie is of course a musical. Personally i am not a fan of musicals and unfortunately that is the case here. I can tell it’s a good movie, the production, the acting and the signing, but i am just not a fan of this kind of movie. If you like musicals, then this is 100% for you, but if not I would give it a skip. E a justificativa é de que nunca mais vou poder ter essa experiência de novo, nunca mais vou ler pela primeira vez essa obra que é tão conhecida mas que de uma maneira inacreditável eu não lembrava de nada quando li. . Li sem spoiler. Eu assisti aos filmes, conhecia a história mas uma feliz amnésia tomou conta de mim e tive uma experiência incrível, descobrindo o enredo e as personagens como se fosse a primeira vez. . Fui tomada pelo conflito de querer sempre ler “só mais um capítulo” e ao mesmo tempo querer economizar, queria que não acabasse nunca. Ainda bem que o livro é enorme, são mil oitocentas e noventa páginas nessa edição que eu li. . Ao final descobri que o livro não só era para mim como pode ter sido a melhor experiência literária que eu já tive na vida. Az biztos, hogy ebben a könyvben a szereplők nyomor minden formájával találkoznak a 19. század első felében Párizsban. . Rengeteget gazdagodtam a történet által, egyik szíven ütő mozzanat volt, hogy egy 8 év körüli fiú, aki maga is az utcán él, befogadott kettő tőle kisebb kisfiút a lakhelyére (ami egy patkányokkal teli szobor belseje). Csak ámultam, mennyi segítőkészség tud szorulni egy olyan emberbe, akinek szintén szüksége lenne segítségre. . Nagyon kíváncsi vagyok a filmre is, egyszer mindenképpen szeretném sorra keríteni. . Victor Hugo stílusát nehéz volt megszokni, nagyon részletes, illetve sok-sok szemszöget mutatott meg, többször nem értettem, hogy ki ez, minek fontos ez a jelenet, de egyszerűen zseniális az, hogy a végére minden a helyére került, minden eseménynek meg lett a miértje. Nem maradt meg rossz élményként a könyv, úgy hogy csak akkor vettem a kezembe, amikor ,,készen álltam rá", nem erőltettem egy cseppet sem, hogy ezt be kell fejeznem még ebben a hónapban. Ezért is történt meg, hogy év és 4 hónapba telt a könyv elolvasása. .
