Dove il rapporto tra sanità/insanità mentale si estenda notevolmente fino a raggiungere un punto di non ritorno. La tirannia spietata mascherata da buone intenzioni, in cui il vero male viene dalla forma inflessibile e implacabile di una figura autoritaria suprema. Un microcosmo che riproduce fedelmente le dinamiche che contraddistinguono sempre gli esseri umani quando sono parte di un gruppo: il sospetto, la sopraffazione, l'abuso di potere e poi l'alleanza, la fiducia, l'empatia. In cui svela un gap generazionale accomunato da una società, quella degli anni 70, tremendamente confusa e insicura. Lungometraggio dalle molteplici chiavi di lettura, una trait d'union tra lo stile anti-establishment e un nuovo registro che va incontro al desiderio di fruizione del pubblico americano, i cui contenuti e le contaminazioni europee dello stile registico di Miloš Forman si uniscono alla spettacolarità della factory hollywoodiana. #sundaymovie N°17_ Kung Fu Panda 4 Ci siamo, ecco qui l'ultimo film della saga, il grande ritorno! È stato ben voluto oppure potevano benissimo fermarsi con solo la trilogia? Beh, direi entrambi. Dal mio punto di vista la trilogia arriva a un punto dove tutti i personaggi hanno detto quello che dovevano dire, nessuno escluso. Po aveva raggiunto il massimo rango raggiungibile, il maestro dragone; avevamo scoperto tutto il passato di Po; i due padri riappacificati in una famiglia ultra moderna; mentre Shifu e i 5 cicloni già dal secondo seguito avevano già dato tutto. E allora a cosa serve questo film? Innanzitutto tutto per andare sull'usato sicuro per la DreamWorks dato il brutto periodo trascorso con recenti flop. Dopodiché, perché non creare una nuova trilogia? Ho come l'impressione che questo lungometraggio serva come 'passaggio del testimone' ad un nuovo e fresco personaggio che onestamente non mi è dispiaciuto. La cattiva camaleonte è potenzialmente la più potente mai vista fin ora grazie al fatto che possa replicare chiunque. Nel frattempo si scoprono nuove città e nuove idee da poter sviluppare, per esempio sul passato della nuova protagonista. Ripetitivo? Forse si, ma vabbè. Dulcis in fundo: ho apprezzato i collegamenti con tutti e tre i film precedenti, bravi. I nuovi registi hanno mantenuto lo stesso 'ambiente' dei film precedenti facendo sentire lo spettatore a casa. RECENSIONE BATMAN IL RITORNO (1992) ✍🏻🎬📽🦇🐈⬛🐧 Se Batman poteva essere considerato una summa di tutte le contraddizioni degli anni ’80, questo sequel aprì la stagione dei ’90 con i segni del postmoderno. Se il capostipite si concentrava soprattutto sulle inquietudini dell'uomo pipistrello e sulla sua difficoltà nel conciliare l'identità pubblica con il ruolo di giustiziere mascherato, Returns è più focalizzato al contrario sulle figure dei due nuovi antagonisti. Una fiaba gotica, nera come la notte, che affronta temi complessi come la scissione dell’identità, il dualismo bene/male, l’esclusione sociale, con un cinismo lontano da qualsiasi rassicurante compromesso, un dipinto dallo splendido fascino figurativo, crepuscolare, surreale e simbolico, dove Burton alterna humour, tragedia e horror assurgendo, fra un tocco di classe e l’altro, a una sotterranea complessità tematica sul deterioramento, psicologico e materico, della civiltà umana. L’espressionismo dello sguardo visto come lo specchio di un mondo interiore, la sfiducia del regista nei confronti della società, dipinta sempre come una massa di individui superficiali ed isterici. Dove alla classica lotta fra eroe e villain si aggiungono inoltre il tema ecologico e quello del rifiuto del diverso. La dicotomia tra il/la freak solitario/a e le convenzioni sociali, da cui ci si può liberare solo indossando una maschera, un incrocio di disturbi della personalità in un'opera dalla scrittura intelligente e dalla spaventosa densità narrativa. Their curses will cancel each others out, and they will both go on to find the love of their lives. It’s supposed to be a summer fling. But when Emma’s toxic mother shows up and Justin has to assume guardianship of his siblings, they’re navigating a lot more than they expected. Including catching feelings for each other. I fell in love with the main characters. Abby rights the perfect cinnamon roll boyfriend and Justin is no exception. There is equal parts comedy and hard hitting drama in this book and it’s done so well and with such balance. Abby takes a contemporary romance and adds real life topics and issues and does it so well that you can’t put it down. You’re laughing and you’re crying. Abby is my auto buy author and I got my book club hooked on her books. After the first robbery we see, Utah and Pappas believe that this gang is a bunch of surfers. So they come up with a plan for Utah to go under cover in the surfing scene to see if he can find and arrest the bank robbers. After Utah meets Bodhi (Swayze) he feels that he has met a true group of friends that are just on the wild side! Will Utah be able to find the gang of surfers that moonlight as bank robbers? Y luego está Zanders: un jugador de hockey profesional, cariñoso, divertido y familiar. Sin embargo, su imagen pública no es de las mejores, ya que lo pintan de mujeriego y que busca siempre pelea, aunque eso realmente no le molesta. Hasta que conoce a Stevie. QUIET TYPES by L.H. Cosway ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I love LH Cosway's novels for many reasons. Her characters are varied, but all have a beautiful kindness of soul. They are realistic but make you dream. The writing is tinged with a sensitivity that reaches your heart. There is so much sweetness and love in her stories. Quiet Types is no exception. I immediately loved Maggie and Shay. Maggie is a lonely, hurting soul that no one sees. Or at least that's what she thinks. Her past broke my heart and made her even more admirable to me. She did not fall into bitterness or depression, she overcame everything like a champion, and despite her education, she became a generous and loving woman who takes care of her half brothers and half sisters. I love the relationship she has with them. Even though being invisible has its advantages, like everyone else, she wants to be seen. And she is. By Shay, this stranger who takes the same bus as her every day. I loved this starting point between the protagonists. The fact that they have been looking at each other and searching for each other for months, making these moments the best of their days. When they finally officially get to know each other, communication is difficult. Shay is mute, Maggie doesn't speak sign language. There is something so beautiful, so innocent, about the way they learn to communicate. The silence disappears between these two discreet beings who have spotted each other in the middle of a crowd where no one else was paying attention to them. Shay has an amazing family but he knows how it feels when people don't look at you. The author describes his daily life in a very interesting way but without falling into pathos. They learn to communicate in every possible way and know how to support and push each other to get more out of their lives. These two characters may seem ordinary but are exceptional, courageous, and their love is pure and immense. This story is extremely romantic and it's a real slow burn that will give you butterflies in your stomach. Had barely heard of them, hadn't seen the trailer for it, only heard that it was Dev Patel from Slumdog Millionaire directorial debut. This was a brilliant display of Dev Patel's martial arts skills! You can clearly see that John Wick has been an inspiration for this film, he does not copy but rather gets his own touch on it! Can't wait for more movie from him and not least his action career!
