Do not, I repeat DO NOT let anyone talk you into this cabinet paint. My bedroom texture was a bitch but compare to my closet my room was quick and easy. I'm having to repaint everything painted with this bullshit. It doesn't cover, it ISN'T durable I mean chipped when I set something on it a week after it dried. It stays feeling completely tacky and sticky and you can see fingerprints. A good damn nightmare. Back to the original Valspar signature paint which is amazing. How do you insta as a non-influencer? I often see posts on here on how to build your platform or how to grow your audience engagement. And that stuff is useful and interesting to many people, but I rarely see tips and advice on how to get the most out of Instagram as just a plain old user of the platform. So I thought I'd share my tips that help make Instagram more useful/enjoyable for me. I'm curious to see if anyone else does things like this. 1. Have two accounts. One for your personal life where you only follow people you know in real life, and one for your hobbies and interests. That way your friends pictures don't get lost in the mix 2. Comment on posts that you like and are interested in. Not only is it nice to give a verbal thumbs up to the content creator but it lets the algorithms know your interests. 3. Follow hashtags for your local area to hear about deals and offers from local companies and cafes. Plus you can find new walks, attractions or histories in your area. 4. Instagram always shows you what it thinks you most want to see but after a bit that gets a bit boring. If you feel like your home page is becoming too repetitive, go explore some hashtags for a new interest and find some new accounts to follow. 5. Be ok with blocking people or accounts that upset you. This is your account you can connect or disconnect with anyone you want. I automatically block any random guy who DMs me with a 'Hey beautiful' 🤮 6. Have a go at a prompt challenge where you post a photo to fit with a series of themed prompts. They are really fun and a great way to find people to connect with. My favourite one at the moment is #weekendgardenparty 💚 Those are some of the ways I like to Insta. After updating our master bedroom for the spring @betterhomesandgardens @oneroomchallenge, the next logical step is to update our master bath, right? These photos are from the listing and to this point I’ve done nothing other than paint the walls a lighter color (and sub in my own more neutral accessories). To be fair our master bath could have been a far bigger disaster. The previous homeowners completely renovated it, but now it’s time to make small changes that better reflect our style.
