TBT to our first full day in Tokyo. And when I say full, I mean it! Our first big event was at TeamLab Planets, which was surreal. Every room had an interactive experience, a black hole room none of us could walk through without falling and stumbling on soft surfaces, running water on ramps, then light shows you would not believe. After that, we saw traditional kabuki theater. Couldn't believe the vocal strength of the performers, a fight sequence with remarkable choreography. While we couldn't understand every line, you could sense the emotion in the room. Next, we hit the National Film Archive, which had the history of Japanese film. Got to see an original Gojira poster and the banner raised for the Seven Samurai. Such a testament to an incredible country and three different experiences that covered the spectrum of what they had to offer.
