We've added another winery to our Colorado selection, family-owned Cliff Dweller in Palisade. The 2022 Cliff Dweller Malbec was named after the vineyards in which it grows. Nestled below the cliffs of Palisade, the Malbec grape thrives from the radiant heat from the rocks. This is a robust full body wine, has notes of black currant and cassis followed by a velvety smooth finish. The 2023 Ghostdance Rosรฉ was created and inspired by a Native American ritual dance of the same name, which was performed by the Ute Indians who lived in western Colorado. It was a dance similar to the Rain Dance and Bear Dance, whose purpose was to summons the spirits in the after world to help fight in the Uteโs territorial battles. A dry Cabernet Franc Rosรฉ, with a floral bouquet of spring in a bottle.
