I am more than happy to say good-bye to April and welcome May with open arms. 🥰🌷 April was an interesting month to say the least. On top of navigating being a new mom of two, I ended up in the hospital the first week very ill. Luckily I was only away from home for a week but it was a rough week mentally, physically and emotionally. I entered emerg severally dehydrated, barely able to walk or get up, right hip pain, blood pressure of 77/42 and heart rate ranging 120-125. At first they had no idea what was going one with me. Tests came back fine other than there’s obviously an infection somewhere. After some roulette with meds, allergic reactions and a rash on my right leg I ended up with cellulitis in my right leg. Which you apparently can get by simply scratching yourself with a dirty fingernail or a bug bite. 🤯 I was away from Parker for a whole week by choice to keep him safe from hospital germs and it was really hard. So once some meds started working and I was slowly getting better the weather also got nicer. Tyler took me outside to let Mother Nature do some healing on me too. It was nice to step on the grass barefoot, close my eyes and breathe deeply to help calm my mind and soul (even if my seasonal allergies started kicking in full swing too 😅). The month of May brings new beginnings and new growth and I’m going to jump on that. Refocusing on my health especially my gut health after all those meds and strengthen my body with more movement and exercise so I can be the best me for my beautiful children 🥰. #newmonth #hellomay #newgrowth #momsover30 #momlife #momoftwo #motherhood #startfresh #healthandwellness

But here's the exciting part – not only do we rejuvenate the pond, but we also discover some adorable surprises along the way! Take a look at this little guy we found during our clean-out, just the size of a quarter! 🐢💚 And that's not all – as part of our commitment to sustainability, we ensure that none of the precious water goes to waste.
