Really enjoyed this. NUXE Rêve de Miel® Ultra Nourishing Lip Balm Possibly my fave of the bunch, as I have been reaching for this daily. The texture is more matt than in a lot of my other lip balms, and my lips have been loving this mattness. It also feels very nurturing and lasts a while, which is good. Over 40’s makeup! I’m pretty basic. One huge thing entering perimenopause was how my makeup looked. 💄As I felt more dull and saggy I thought I’d slap more bronzer and cheek tint on ( still trying to get used to not needing to max it out , photo was fresh on 🤦♀️ ). It just looked worse, sinking into crevices and drying up. 💦 firstly, the freshness, flow and puffy reduction I’ve seen from doing Gua Sha, to me, has given my skin some youthfulness back. Which makes my makeup… the same makeup for I’m very low maintenance and didn’t invest in new stuff… look so dewy. 👌then, I swear my skin feels so much softer since ditching moisturiser and using my oils. I use jojoba oil as a base and mix essential oils into it. Trust me. Oils are amazing at hydrating and softening. So my makeup sits on my skin better. I feel. 💪lastly, I don’t wear foundation anymore. I apply my eyeliner differently, add bronze and cheek tint higher on my cheekbone and bronzer under my jaw. I have no foundation on. This for me is a breakthrough. I feel fresh and unclogged and that might just be a placebo but I actually love my routine and how I notice changes. Day 7 back on the new skincare regimen, and the skin is skinning, huni! 🙌🏾👏🏾🤗 LISTEN, it's okay to give your skin the runaround so long as you keep some sort of skin routine. I started this line in August 2023. EVEN THOUGH MY SKIN LOOKED GREAT, the textures and feel of the products on my skin were NOTHING like what I was using, so I started bouncing around for something that felt like what had been discontinued. Two things happened, 1) NOTHING gave the feel that I was looking for. 2) My skin was starting to rebel against me by drying out and clogging pores galore.
