Call me crazy but I still like picking my own groceries out. Grocery shopping shouldn't be considered a vacation or "me time" for moms, but I do find it a blessing and enjoy it. I get to go to the store and select food to nourish my family. I get to pick and choose what I buy and what I don't. I get to choose veggies, berries, snacks, and even different assortments of chocolates. I get special items for the boys and know it will make their day when they get home from school. These groceries are the meals I will make each night for dinner, where we sit around the table and talk about our days. Perspective is a funny thing. When you slow down and take it all in, it is the little things like this that make up our lives.
