The Impossible Jamaican Beef Patty at EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival La Isla Fresca Outdoor Kitchen was just delicious. Nice flavor but not overly spicy, hearty enough for a meal, and plant based. The sweet papaya sauce outside really tied it all together. I hope it stays on the menu! Coral Reef. I'd read great and not so great reviews of Coral Reef, so I wasn't sure what to expect. But we loved it! The Mushroom Gyoza was one of the best dishes I had all week, and the chocolate mousse dessert was both light and rich at the same time. The server was really nice and funny. And we had the perfect view of the aquarium. Space 220 was so fun. We took an "elevator" up 220 miles above Epcot to have lunch in space. 😆 It was so fun watching everything going on outside: spaceships, astronauts, even an astronaut dog. 😂 The food was good too. Roundup Rodeo BBQ was fun, and the food was great. The inside of the restaurant is amazing. But I was a little disappointed there weren't more activities happening. We were supposed to be the size of a toy and we had to freeze whenever Andy came in, but that only happened once while we were there. I was expecting more, but it's ok. It was a great meal. Another family style meal. We all wanted the plant based platter but with vegan and vegetarian sides. The Peach Tea was delicious! The bratwurst was my favorite. The dessert was perfect. The service was great. I wish they had better allergen friendly bread. We ate this same bread at least 3 times that week, and it's not great. The pepper jelly was good, though. We chose not to eat at a table service restaurant in Magic Kingdom. We wanted to save those for Epcot and also wanted to have more time for rides. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe. I got the Veggie Rice Bowl. Definitely add guacamole. It was a very tasty dish. And, eat lunch right before the parade. Grab a spot on the wall right outside, and you've got the perfect view of the parade! I did not get a picture of the pizza we had a Pinnochio Village Haus. It wasn't terrible. But I wouldn't go back. There are much better options. Like Casey's Corner. Biergarten! There are so many vegan options on this buffet. I think there were more this time than when we were here 5 years ago. Plus, now they will bring you vegan brats. They tasted like Beyond sausages to me, but the server said they were made in Epcot. Either way, they were really good. The server will also bring little bags of allergy friendly cookies and chocolate bars, which we took with us and had for snacks later in the week. Biergarten is great for vegans and meat eaters and anyone in between. And the music is always fun! Luminous, the new nighttime show in Epcot was amazing! Thanks to @princess_and_the_bear for letting us know about the 2 vegan dishes that aren't labeled vegan. 1. Wild Mushroom Risotto from Gourmet Landscapes in Canada. This is vegan as is and so good. It's so warm and cozy. I just wish it hadn't been 85° when we had it. 😂 2. Roasted Beets also from Gourmet Landscapes. You have to ask for this without the cheese and pecans to make it vegan. I love beets, and this did not disappoint. 3. I really miss the vegetarian platter at Tangierine Cafe, but the Stone-baked Bread with Dips was delicious. We loved it so much we went back for another. 4. The Sesame Balls with Red Bean Paste from Painted Panda were the perfect little sweet bite. Disney World Day 1: after not a ton of sleep (we woke up at 3 am to make our early morning flights the day before), we set out for EPCOT. My dad joined us for the trip, which was a nice surprise. It was a pretty dang close to perfect day! We got to go on all the rides we wanted (love, love, LOVE Cosmic Rewind), we watched the candlelight processional, and we dined with princesses at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. Big shoutout to @waltdisneyworld for the incredible plant-based fare! And also shoutout to the Florida rain for holding off all day!

Our first meal of our Disney World holiday was at Sebastian’s Bistro 🌴🦀, the family style dining restaurant at our resort hotel, Caribbean Beach 🏝️. This restaurant is such a hidden gem of a plant based menu 🌱. To start we were served bread rolls with with guava spread and caramelised onion jam and the “Spice Necklace Salad” which included mixed greens, kale and tropical fruits. For the main we were served the “Taste of the Caribbean” which was a big platter of plant based meats including Impossible kebab and fried jerk tofu together with veggies, coriander rice & beans and vegetable curry. This was sooo much food (way too much 🙈). We had to leave some room for dessert, which was plant based coconut pineapple bread pudding 🥥🍍 with caramel sauce and vanilla soya ice cream. The Grand Floridian’s Gingerbread House did not disappoint! They had a vegan gingerbread cookie that was incredible. I took it over to the Yacht Club’s bar and enjoyed it with a glass of wine while waiting for a friend to shop. There are actually people inside selling gingerbread men’s, gingerbread cookies, and holiday sweets! We have found our first 5/5 food item and it is the Brussels Caesar from Lamplight Lounge 🙌🏼🙌🏼 The flavor of this dish is creamy, the Brussel sprouts were cooked perfectly, and it was delicious! It is labeled as a “Bite” at $14. There’s always the increased price being at an amusement park -all things considered - this dish was a good size (compared to some we’ve had in the past) and the flavor was great. Originally 💩 and I were going to get an order of these, the vegan nachos, and one of the vegan pastrami-sliced Impossible burgers but after getting these, we decided to split the nachos and call it a day. We were very satisfied, flavor and meal size-wise. We lucked out with a walk up today. It was pretty mellow considering it is Halloween day, but we will be returning in December for our annual holiday trip and will def check out the pastrami-sliced burger then 😍

Was it really only a year ago this month that we first tried the Forest Mushroom Impossible Sausage Pizza at the #gchcraftsmangrill??? We must have had it a dozen times since then! Thankful that @happiestveganonearth clued us in on how we can veganize this pizza by requesting they hold the cheese. We ask our server to add extra mushroom spread to make up for it. So good! BTW you can dine at this @disneyland hotel restaurant even if you aren’t staying there or even visiting the park. We split a #BlueMilk yesterday to cool down before our long walk back to the car. In case you haven’t heard, it’s a “ #plantbased blend of coconut and rice milk with alluring fruity characteristics” that’s available from the Milk Stand and Oga’s Cantina in Galaxy’s Edge at @disneyland. There’s also a Green Milk which they describe as having “zippy citrus and tropical characteristics.” These thick slushy drinks will give you a brain freeze if you aren’t careful! 🥶 According to Wookiepedia, “Blue milk, also known as Bantha milk, was a rich blue-colored milk produced by female banthas. It was notably available on Outer Rim planets such as Batuu, Lah'mu, Lothal, and Tatooine.” #GalaxysEdge is supposed to be #Batuu so there’s your tie-in! Darted out mid-week to enjoy the Breakfast Sha-warm-up from Shawarma Palace in Avengers Campus at @disneyland California Adventure Park. This may well be Ryan’s fave #plantbased menu item in the park! Sometimes they run out before we can get to the cart, making it an even more exciting time when we find them in stock. I notice the price has gone up a bit, which is unfortunate but the portion size is pretty generous for #DisneylandFood. Oh yes, take note of the green leaf icon next to the name on the menu board. NEW VIDEO! Annette's Diner Vegetal Burger Review! Join me today at Annette's Diner in Disney Village! In 2023 the menu was updated to have a plant-based burger with no need for modifications! I have previously eaten here when the previous veggie burger came without a bun, instead you had two mushrooms as a replacement, and you needed to remove some items. Luckily this is no longer needed! On the menu they list vegan companies such Beyond Meat for the patty and Nurishh cheese. It is worth noting this dish is listed as plant-based as shared grills or fryers may be used. Sometimes suppliers do change so before ordering do check this dish is fully vegan. Annette's is a super popular restaurant in Disney Village with fun 50's theming and servers on rollerskates! Surprised to discover that the Studio Catering Co added a new plant based menu item! The last time we were at @disneyland California Adventure Park there was no #veganfood at the food truck which was sad because they specialize in Mexican street food, which we love! Thankfully they’re back now with Sopes de Chorizo con Papas with Refried Beans, Lettuce, Pico de Gallo, Nopales, Cilantro Crema and Pickled Red Onion. Overall pretty tasty, especially that crema but our #sopes were tough and dry, so it was a bit disappointing. The best meal ever from my favorite restaurant on site at Disney’s California Adventure, the Lamplight Lounge. If you haven’t been to this place you absolutely have to check it out. It’s totally Pixar themed, everything from the drinks to the ambiance, and it’s the perfect place to chill out next to the water off of Pixar Pier after a long day at the park. I dragged my friend @alexisgfadventures with me to the Contemporary to have brunch this morning and to try this Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie at the Contempo Cafe. I'm so glad I did! It was delicious. I looooove Peanut butter and chocolate. It's my favorite dessert combination. This plant based gluten free option hits all the marks and is delicious. The strawberry whipped cream on the top was tasty as well, I just chose to eat it separately. (I don't like mixing my pie with fruit...) I would definitely order this again. You can mobile order this dessert in the 'dessert' section on the app, not in the allergy section. You can also just grab it from the refrigerated case. When we were checking out I also noticed a gluten free/ allergy grab and go section by the cash register. They had @partakefoods cookies as well as savory snacks. As a note, if there's an option to mobile order something in the app, I always do that. I love the efficiency and Disney takes those allergy orders seriously. #disneyworld #disneyfood

this is your sign to book the character dining experience. yes, it’s an additional expense, but seeing the JOY on my kids’ faces when they got to hug their favorite disney friends was absolutely priceless. also, no lines! mickey, minnie, goofy, donald and pluto each leisurely visited our dinner table while we were stuffing our faces after a busy park day. the plant-based buffet items here were also stellar. it was definitely a core memory from our trip! 🍷🥗🍔🍕🥨🧁
Casey’s Corner at Walt Disney’s Magic Kingdom on Main Street had 3 Plant-based hot dogs to chose from: Plant Based Chicago Style Dog (has tomato, onion, yellow mustard, and green relish) , Plant Based Loaded Slaw Dog (has Pickled Slaw, Barbecue Vegan Aïoli, and roasted corn relish), or the Plant Based dog which has nothing on it. When you order you have to say you are gluten free and the cashier will get a supervisor to take your order. Since this restaurant uses the same fryer for gluten, unfortunately the fries are not gluten free but instead you can choose between Lay’s potato chips or an orange. I ordered the plain Plant-based Dog with a gluten free bun and Lay’s Potato Chips on the side. The Plant-based hot dog was a little spicy but good. It was really nothing special but if you’re looking for something quick and different this is a good option. Erin McKenna’s Bakery at Disney Springs had so many gluten free vegan options that it was so hard to choose! I selected the Cinnamon Roll and Salted Caramel Brownie bar which were both amazing and way bigger than most gluten free foods. When I first looked at the cinnamon roll my impression was that there was not enough frosting (I like a lot of frosting usually) but this was the perfect amount. Every piece of it had a strong cinnamon flavor and a nice texture. I especially liked the cinnamon filling that went down the center of the cinnamon roll. The salted caramel brownie bar had the perfect amount of frosting to brownie ratio. The caramel flavoring was not overbearing which I appreciated. The chocolate chips on top were a nice addition to the brownie. If you are looking for a great gluten free vegan dessert I definitely recommend Erin McKenna’s Bakery. The Regal Eagle at Walt Disney Worlds Epcot in America in the World Showcase had a great gluten free vegan option that was very easy to order. On the Disney World app I looked at the allergy menu and found that the Plant-based BBQ Jackfruit Burger could be made gluten free if you request it. The burger was Texas Toast with jackfruit on top of a Beyond Meat Burger. It didn’t have too much of a barbecue sauce flavor and there was no barbecue sauce from what I could tell but the flavor was very smoky and delicious. I also got a side of gluten free fries. When ordering they gave the option to even talk to the chef if you have any questions about how they prepare the food or just to clarify what your allergies are and what they will change for you. They had a separate window for me to pick up my food and they clarified my allergy and reassured me it was safe. Overall this was a very accommodating quick-serve at Epcot.
