🇬🇧BKC RD1🇬🇧 Yet another weekend of what could’ve been at pfi, showed such strong pace on the saturday, however all the work came to no avail on sunday as problems and unfortunate contact set us back. • • • Saturday Quali: p3 (in group) Heat 1: p3-p1 Heat 2: p3-p4 a brilliant day of heats set us up for p3 on the grid for the pre final of which, well didn’t go as well. Ending up p11 after a snapped seat stay for unknown reasons made the kart and balance all wrong. So I did a thing!! 2024 challenge completed The London Landmarks Half Marathon. This was a massive challenge for me as someone who only started running in mid 2022 as part of my weight loss journey. Running was definitely one of my biggest struggles. I have trained in all weathers and all circumstances for the past ten weeks with no runs missed. 4 runs a week! I signed up for this challenge back in 2023 and decided to run and raise money for Meningitis in memory of my nephew Jaxon who we lost in 2013 at 2 years old. Since then my sister Joanne has been diagnosed with terminal cancer so would Iike to share any monies raised between Meningitis and Daisy Lodge who have given support to both Joanne and Evie. Posey lived her first year of life on the street with an unhoused woman. When the woman was accepted into housing, she was unable to take Posey with her.
