Long post alert 🚨 TLDR thank you for EVERYTHING @pure_barre ❤️🔥 I first found Pure Barre at the rec of a friend in early 2014. In one of my first classes @purebarrerockville , I heard ‘shaking muscles are changing muscles’ and instantly embraced it. Baby client Rachel loved Pure Barre because she was good at it but that didn’t make it easier. And, because it was the one place where her mind would quiet. I was a client for about 5 years before becoming a teacher. I’ve been teaching for over 4 years now, trained in every format, taught in all 12 @purebarrenyc studios, not to mention on live-stream, in parks and even on a hotel rooftop. I’ve come to love Pure Barre even more, this movement meditation set to music, because it forced me to learn Grace for myself. Nothing is ever going to be perfect AND THAT’S OK! Both teaching and taking classes have given me the gift of movement. It has also given me something to look forward to when nothing else seemed to go the way I wanted. It has given me strength, inspiration, confidence, community and an endless number of opportunities to shine my light ✨ Saturday, I joined the #1000club at the same studio where I was one of the first 100 clients to reach 100. Thanks to all the participants and to my beloved home away from home @purebarrenyc for helping me stay as present as possible while I balance motherhood and entrepreneurship. There were over 20 ppl on the waitlist for this workshop so clearly there is a need for pelvic floor awareness.
