Era la mattina del 2 maggio del 2020, quando abbiamo ricevuto la triste notizia che Andrea, improvvisamente, se n'era andato. Vivevamo tutti una realtà alterata, perché da due mesi non uscivamo di casa a causa della pandemia e sembrava incredibile, quasi fantasiosa, quella dolorosa notizia. E invece Andrea davvero non c'era più. Il suo cuore, all'improvviso, aveva cessato di battere. E il 4 maggio, primo giorno di "liberazione" dal lockdown, è stato così surreale partecipare al suo funerale... Ma se anche non avremmo più potuto abbracciare Andrea, di certo la sua storia con noi non sarebbe finita con la sua morte. Noi di Eufonia non potevamo permettere che il suo nome venisse dimenticato. E così, uno degli scopi della nostra associazione culturale è diventato quello di mantenerne viva la memoria, di provare a continuare il lavoro che lui ha dovuto lasciare incompiuto, di parlarvi di lui. Lo facciamo attraverso la Musica, l'arte che a lui ci ha uniti indissolubilmente e che ci ha fatti diventare, come diceva lui, la sua seconda famiglia. Proprio in questi giorni sono in essere due iniziative in suo nome: la rassegna concertistica #GliAmiciDiAndrea, che si conclude queata domenica con il concerto di #ClaudioCavallaro e #FortunatoCeccarelli ( #clarinetto e #chitarra) e il concorso di #composizione Premio di Roma #AndreaCeraso, organizzato da #SheLives, in collaborazione con noi di Eufonia, con #ImagoSonora e con l'Associazione #Recercare. Andrea è sempre, quotidianamente con noi, e siamo certi che dall'altro ci protegga, speranzosi che quello che stiamo facendo per lui lo renda orgoglioso di noi. Ciò che ci consola e ci rassicura è sapere che il suo papà Aldo apprezza molto le nostre iniziative, come le apprezzava moltissimo la dolce mamma Fiorella, che nel 2023 si è ricongiunta a lui. I’m thankful that… 1-Today is finished. 2-I ran into a friend this morning and had a few minutes to laugh & lament. 3-A dear friend researched the best place to order a replacement tire for my car.
